SRM AP Minimum School Marks and Entrance Selection
The 60% school-marks requirement is an eligibility threshold, separate from counselling closing ranks. The 2026–27 B.Tech rule requires 60% aggregate in Class 10 and 60% in Class 12 Physics, Mathematics and an accepted third subject. The booklet also sets the age requirement at 16 years and six months by July 31 of the Class 12 examination year.
Engineering selection then uses the relevant entrance result and counselling. MBA uses management-test and interview stages rather than an engineering closing rank. Meeting school marks therefore establishes the academic basis for an application without determining the final branch allotment.
