Alliance University: Study Options and Budget Considerations

Law and management have dated NIRF results, while computing has both B.Tech and BCA routes. CSE teaching includes design projects, a two-part capstone and an industry internship. The MBA combines coursework with cases, practical assignments and selection of a specialisation.

The July MBA payment schedule is concentrated early: all three academic instalments are due by 15 April 2028, within the first year of the July 2027 intake. Hostel is additional for that MBA, and its rules specify a minimum 12-month stay. Students based elsewhere in Bengaluru also need to account for the Central Campus location in Anekal.

Reasons to consider Alliance

  • Law and management have dated national rankings: NIRF 2025 places them at #20 and #71 respectively.
  • 2027 fee PDFs are already available: they name registration, instalments, due dates and additional academic charges.
  • Several routes into computing: core CSE, named computing specialisations, BCA and lateral-entry options have their own course pages.
  • Student accounts cover practical work: the linked reviews describe projects, case discussions, teaching and campus facilities.

Reasons to compare other options

  • MBA payments come early: the July 2027 School of Business schedule is fully paid by April 2028, during the first 12 months.
  • The central campus is in Anekal: a student living in another part of Bengaluru needs to account for the actual journey.
  • Hostel is a further commitment: the published rules specify a minimum 12-month stay and separate security and maintenance.
  • Some experiences differ by student: the reviews raise concerns about strict attendance or dress expectations, teaching consistency and recruiter opportunities.

Students on MBA Projects, Teaching and Campus Rules

Thathampilly Anandhu Dayanand, a 2024 MBA entrant, describes case discussions, presentations, clubs and internships in market research, sales and taxation. He values accessible teachers but wants stronger interview preparation and more large recruiters, and feels Marketing has more opportunities than some other specialisations.

Nishant, a 2024 B.Tech IT entrant, likes the campus and classrooms but reports uneven teaching and strict formal-dress expectations. Abhishek P, who joined MBA through PGCET in 2023, values the library and faculty while raising timetable, commuting and placement-service concerns. Their admissions, degrees and experiences differ.

4.0/5
Industry projects and helpful teachers, with placement concerns

Anandhu likes the green campus, approachable faculty and practical work in the MBA. He describes internships in market research, sales and taxation, along with case studies, presentations and student clubs. He feels marketing has more placement opportunities than other specialisations and wants stronger interview training and more large employers. His hostel experience was broadly positive, with several room-sharing choices. He applied through a registration form, an entrance test and an interview.

3.6/5
A green campus, with mixed views on teaching and rules

Nishant likes the classrooms, canteen and quiet campus with plenty of trees. He says the B.Tech curriculum includes communication subjects alongside technical study. His view of teaching is mixed: some teachers are experienced and helpful, while others do not explain topics in the way he expects. He also finds the formal dress rule strict. Moving from Haryana brought some language difficulties, and the location outside the city limits his options for going out at night.

5.0/5
Accessible teachers and library facilities, but timetable concerns

Abhishek joined through Karnataka PGCET and values teachers who are easy to approach and explain subjects clearly. He describes a digital classroom setup, workshops, library books and journals, and cultural events. His concerns include changing class and exam timetables, commuting to campus and the quality of sports grounds. He would like better placement services and more large companies. His experience also shows why a PGCET fee and a management admission fee should be compared separately.
