B.Tech CSE begins at ₹1.35 lakh per semester in the 2026 prospectus, MBA at ₹2,25,500 and BCA at ₹84,000. The university’s two-year management postgraduate group recorded 96 placements from 113 graduates and a ₹6.8 LPA median in 2024–25. The 2026–27 admission cycle advertised October 15, 2026 as its deadline; the 2027 calendar is unannounced.

Major Courses and Starting Semester Fees

B.Tech CSE lasts four years; MBA lasts two; standard BBA and BCA last three. Their 2026 starting semester fees are ₹1,35,000, ₹2,25,500, ₹1,31,000 and ₹84,000 respectively. CSE with AI and Machine Learning begins at ₹1,17,500 per semester.

Professional routes include five-year B.A. LL.B (Hons), four-year B.Pharm and five-year B.Arch. Law begins after Class 12, while the separate three-year LL.B route starts after graduation. B.Arch requires a qualified current-year NATA score. The course list separates these degrees from honours, integrated and doctoral options.

Mohali Campus, Laboratories and Student Spaces

The 40-acre IT City campus has teaching buildings, laboratories, library facilities and student activity spaces. The engineering school identifies Computer Science, Electronics, IoT and Robotics laboratories, with IEEE and ACM student chapters and the Technometer Club.

The university provides mentoring, foreign-language study, sports and cultural events. Its single-room AC hostels have separate accommodation for boys and girls. The July 2026 disclosure records 480 hostel rooms, with 200 for boys and 280 for girls, and identifies a wellness centre, visitor lounges and recreational space.

Academic Options, Student Experience and Cost

Amity Mohali combines engineering and professional courses with subjects such as Biotechnology, Forensic Science, Psychology and Economics. Standard, honours and integrated routes offer different study lengths. Named student experiences describe laboratories, library access, legal-aid activities, clubs and cultural events.

Annual fee growth, residential costs and the timetable are practical considerations. First-year CSE with AC accommodation, deposits and application is ₹4,96,500 before food. A law student’s 2024 account describes a 9.15 am to 5.10 pm day and strict attendance, while a CSE account raises concerns about faculty changes and first-year subject balance.

Reasons to consider it

  • A choice of subjects at one campus: computing, management, law, pharmacy, architecture and laboratory sciences are represented in the official list.
  • A documented management result: 96 of 113 two-year PG graduates were placed in 2024–25, at a ₹6.8 LPA median.
  • Merit-based fee support: the dated policy includes tuition scholarships for eligible board and examination results.
  • A direct-admission route for some UG applicants: the 2026 policy exempts eligible 80%+ Class 12 applicants from the usual selection stages for covered courses.

Reasons to compare other options

  • The starting tuition is not a fixed four-year promise: the prospectus permits an approximately 5% annual rise.
  • Accommodation adds a substantial cost: the AC single room is ₹1.90 lakh per year, with food and refundable security separate.
  • Attendance is a recurring concern in student reviews: the linked accounts describe a 75% requirement and a busy timetable.
  • The university is relatively new: its establishment year is 2021, and campus-specific graduating-batch records matter more than group alumni totals.

Law, CSE and Biotechnology Student Reviews

Harmanpreet Kaur, B.A. LL.B (Hons), 2024 entry, describes moot courts, legal-aid visits, approachable teachers and Sangathan sports. Her November 2024 account also identifies food, a long timetable and the 75% attendance rule as drawbacks.

Prabsimar Singh Chhabra, a 2023-entry CSE student, liked the buildings and smaller campus crowd but reported faculty changes and wanted more practical work. Isha, a 2024-entry Biotechnology student, praised laboratories and library access and described foreign language, communication skills and behavioural science alongside core subjects. Their accounts reflect different courses and early study periods.

4.3/5
Moot courts, legal-aid visits and a busy class schedule.

Harmanpreet describes a law course with moot-court sessions, library access and legal-aid visits to nearby villages. She found the teachers approachable and liked the campus events, clubs and Sangathan sports meet. Her single AC hostel room had a study table, cupboard, bookshelf and bedding, and she was satisfied with washroom maintenance. Food was a weaker point. She also found the 9.15 am to 5.10 pm timetable tiring, with few breaks, and said the 75% attendance rule was strict. Her account dates from November 2024, soon after joining.

3.5/5
Good buildings and a smaller crowd; concerns about faculty changes.

Prabsimar liked the newer buildings and found it easier to make friends because the campus was less crowded. He mentioned singing, dance and technology clubs, but wanted coaching for more sports. His experience with teaching was mixed: some faculty were helpful, while frequent changes disrupted continuity. He felt first-year CSE had too many subjects outside his main interest and wanted more practical work. By second year, the subjects were closer to computer science. He wrote this in October 2024, before the first four-year B.Tech batch had graduated, so his review does not establish current placement results.

4.8/5
Biotechnology labs, a useful library and an active campus.

Isha chose Biotechnology because she wanted to study research-related subjects. She found the faculty willing to listen and was positive about the laboratories. Her course combined core subjects with foreign language, communication skills and behavioural science. She liked the library seating, books and digital access to journals. Outside classes, she mentioned Amphoria, gym facilities and opportunities to join sports teams through selection. She felt students still needed to build their own skills to make use of the opportunities. Her main complaint was that the cafeteria and mess shared the same space. This was her October 2024 first-year experience.
