MAHE does not have one cutoff for every course. MIT B.Tech uses an engineering merit and counselling process; KMC MBBS uses NEET UG and MCC allotment; TAPMI MBA uses entrance scores followed by further selection. A medical NEET rank and an engineering MET rank measure different applicant groups.
MET closing ranks identify the branch, campus, year and round in which the last seat was allotted. They cannot be read as entrance-test marks. A previous MIT Manipal rank also does not become the closing rank for MIT Bengaluru or Manipal University Jaipur.
The 2027 cycle has not produced a final closing rank. The published MIT admission route includes both MET and a separately defined JEE Main allocation; the two merit lists should not be merged.
Eligibility marks are different from closing ranks
MIT's 50% subject requirement is an academic eligibility condition for the MET route. It is not a rank at which CSE or another branch is guaranteed. The MET-based merit calculation gives equal weight to the entrance score and the specified Class 12 result.
The separate JEE Main route uses the Common Rank List, with 20% of General-category seats earmarked. Its published minimum for Indian-board applicants is 75% in the required subject combination and 90 percentile in JEE Main 2027. Meeting those minimums still requires counselling and allotment.
KMC MBBS applicants need the applicable NEET qualification and counselling category. TAPMI's MBA shortlist also considers the academic record and other application details. None of these minimum eligibility conditions is a confirmed closing score for admission.

A closing rank becomes known after the relevant seat-allotment round. MIT's 2027 counselling schedule and final ranks are not available in the retrieved calendar. NEET UG qualification and MCC allotment will have their own dates for MBBS.
TAPMI publishes MBA shortlist and merit-list stages rather than a MET branch closing rank. Its GD/PI period is February–March 2027, with the first merit list tentatively in April. These MBA stages do not set the timetable for engineering or medicine.

Questions students ask about MAHE Manipal
What is the MAHE Manipal cutoff for 2027?
There is no single MAHE cutoff. MIT engineering, KMC medicine and TAPMI management use different tests and selection processes. Final 2027 closing ranks follow their respective allotment rounds.
Can I get MIT CSE by meeting the minimum Class 12 marks?
Minimum marks make an applicant academically eligible for the relevant route. CSE admission also requires a competitive merit position and seat allotment.
Can I compare MET marks directly with a closing rank?
No. Marks and ranks are different. A closing rank belongs to a named branch, campus, year and counselling round.
Is KMC Manipal MBBS cutoff the same as KMC Mangaluru?
No. They are separate institute choices in counselling. Their closing ranks can differ by round and seat category.
