CU’s 2026 five-seater non-AC hostel package costs ₹1.20 lakh for the first year. The schedule adds ₹2,000 in each following year for that batch. Room occupancy and AC availability determine the other accommodation tariffs.
CU offers a general CSE degree alongside specialised programmes in Artificial Intelligence, Cloud Computing, Full Stack Development and other computing fields. Its BE CSE programme has ABET accreditation. General CSE, honours programmes and industry-associated degrees retain different academic and fee requirements.
Hostel facilities include reading and common rooms, Wi-Fi, power supply, medical support and sports or gym amenities. Room availability differs by occupancy and gender. Students’ accounts describe events and faculty support as well as crowding and a preference for more practical teaching. A CUCET scholarship can reduce eligible academic charges, but residence remains a separate cost.
In NIRF 2025, CU is 19th in the University category, 31st in Engineering and 32nd in Management. Architecture and Planning is 14th and Pharmacy 15th. Each result belongs to a different category.
The Collegedunia 2026 rankings place CU at 189 of 500 for engineering and 112 of 350 for MBA, with Pharmacy at 16 of 200. The subject results keep the agency, category and ranking year together.

The two student accounts describe cultural and technical events, faculty support and placement preparation. They also raise concerns about crowding and teaching that places too much emphasis on theory. Their experiences show how classroom study and extracurricular opportunities can differ within the university.
These are individual assessments of studying at CU. Their comments complement course requirements and the engineering graduating-cohort figures, which measure different aspects of the student experience.
