BE, MBA, BBA, BCA and MCA are major options at the Punjab campus. Other fields include commerce, law, pharmacy, science, humanities, design, architecture, hospitality and health sciences. Research degrees are available across several disciplines.
Regular BE CSE lasts four years, and the CSE lateral-entry route has three years remaining. MBA and MCA are two-year postgraduate degrees. The general BBA and BCA routes use a three-year duration, while honours, research and integrated programmes follow their specific academic structure.
CSE choices include general engineering and programmes in Full Stack Development, Artificial Intelligence, Cloud Computing, Computer Science and Business Systems, and other specialisations. Their eligibility and fee differences matter even when their names share CSE.
Comparing BE CSE with BCA, BBA, MBA and MCA
BE CSE is an engineering degree requiring Physics and Mathematics at Class 12 level. General BCA is a separate computer-application route that accepts Class 12 in any stream with 50%. BBA also begins after Class 12, while MBA and MCA require qualifying graduation.
At the stated rates, BE CSE costs ₹12.24 lakh over eight semesters, MBA ₹6.78 lakh over four, general BBA ₹5.40 lakh over six, BCA ₹4.95 lakh over six and MCA ₹3.72 lakh over four. These are academic amounts; accommodation and any separately billed charges increase the budget.

Specialisations, lateral entry and postgraduate choices
General CSE requires 60% in the prescribed Class 12 subjects, while the Honours Artificial Intelligence route requires 70%. Full Stack Development and Cloud Computing have their own semester prices. CSE lateral entry requires the specified diploma or B.Sc route rather than ordinary first-year Class 12 eligibility.
In business, MBA Applied Finance requires 55% in graduation and gives preference to applicants with a commerce background. The general MBA and Capital Markets routes have their own entry and fee terms. Computing postgraduate admission includes the MCA prerequisites and bridge-course provisions for eligible graduates with gaps in mathematics or computing study.
Some specialised business offers carry 2024 prices. Those amounts describe that offer period; a new 2027 admission needs the applicable intake fee. Research costs also depend on discipline, mode and time to completion.
