CUCET is used for admission and scholarship assessment in applicable programmes. A qualifying academic percentage, a CUCET result and a scholarship percentage describe different conditions. They do not form one common closing cutoff across all CU degrees.
A verified 2027 branch-, category- and round-wise closing-score table is awaited. The CSE Class 12 minimum establishes eligibility for its route; the applicable entrance process, programme conditions and admission offer determine the next stages.
Qualifying marks for CSE, BCA and postgraduate routes
General BE CSE requires 60% aggregate with Physics, Mathematics and an accepted third subject in Class 12. BE CSE Honours in Artificial Intelligence requires 70% under its specified subject condition. These percentages are academic entry requirements rather than final allotted CUCET scores.
General BCA and BBA use 50% in Class 12, while the AR/VR and UI/UX BCA specialisations use 55%. MBA requires qualifying graduation, and MCA has its accepted degrees, 50% requirement and prerequisite or bridge-course provisions. Engineering lateral entry follows its diploma or B.Sc route.
From CUCET result to admission confirmation
Applications for 2027 are open, with available test slots selected through the applicant account. Following the applicable test or exemption route, applicants complete programme selection, document verification and the offer’s academic payment.
A scholarship is attached to the final admitted course and can change when the applicant changes programme. The offer’s payment and reporting dates are separate from the test date. The admission details explain the required qualifications and application sequence.
Questions about CU cutoff 2027
Is 60% the CUCET closing cutoff for CSE?
No. It is the general BE CSE Class 12 requirement with specified subjects. Entrance selection is a separate stage.
Does every CSE programme use 60%?
No. The Honours Artificial Intelligence route uses a 70% academic requirement under its stated subject condition.
Does a CUCET scholarship percentage guarantee admission?
The award percentage concerns eligible academic fees. Admission also requires the programme’s qualifications, applicable selection and verification.
