The Lakeside campus in pictures

CMR’s Lakeside campus teaches engineering. OMBR, HRBR and City locations serve other courses. Campus allocation also changes some fees: three-year BCA tuition totals ₹3.75 lakh at Lakeside and ₹4.05 lakh at OMBR at their respective semester rates.

Lakeside, OMBR and City Campus Programmes

Lakeside hosts engineering, architecture and design, as well as management, commerce and computing programmes in its academic blocks. OMBR and City/HRBR have separate programme and counselling entries; general BCA is offered at both OMBR and Lakeside at different tuition rates.

The distinction also applies to postgraduate admission. MBA counselling uses B149 for OMBR, B150 for City and B395 for Lakeside; MCA uses C527 for OMBR and C521 for Lakeside. On-campus Lakeside residences have separate boys’ and girls’ accommodation.

CMR University: Course Choice, Practical Facilities and Costs

CMR’s engineering, design and architecture students have access to a shared prototyping makerspace. The CSE curriculum includes Python, C, Java, data structures, operating systems and database management, together with internships and career preparation. MBA students can choose two areas of specialisation.

Campus choice changes the cost: general BCA tuition differs by ₹30,000 over three years between OMBR and Lakeside at these rates. Hostel charges are additional to tuition. For employment outcomes, the available engineering figure is the engineering school’s highest offer; there is no matching CSE median or eligible-batch count in that summary.

Reasons to consider it

  • CSE and AI & ML course pages publish semester tuition, making a first-year comparison possible.
  • Law, management, design and computing have separate programme pages and a broad choice of degrees.
  • Lakeside has on-campus boys’ and girls’ residences with published room configurations.

Reasons to think twice

  • The different campuses, degree variants and counselling codes need careful matching to your offer.
  • Public course pages do not itemise a complete 2027 invoice or hostel tariff for every room.
  • The public placement summary does not break out a course-wise median or placement rate for CSE.
