CMR Tuition: Semester, First Year and Full Course

B.Tech CSE tuition is ₹1.75 lakh each semester. Two semesters cost ₹3.50 lakh and eight semesters total ₹14 lakh at that rate. CSE AI & ML is ₹2 lakh per semester, or ₹4 lakh for the first year and ₹16 lakh for four years. These are tuition totals at this rate; they do not include an unpriced hostel or other separate payment.
The general BCA tuition is ₹1.35 lakh a year at OMBR and ₹1.25 lakh at Lakeside, giving three-year totals of ₹4.05 lakh and ₹3.75 lakh. For the dual-specialisation MBA, OMBR/HRBR costs ₹3.50 lakh a year and ₹7 lakh over two years; Lakeside costs ₹3 lakh a year and ₹6 lakh over two years.
Application Charges and the First Instalment
Product Design’s 2025–26 instructions specify a ₹1,000 application fee and a ₹50,000 first instalment after the admission offer. The ₹50,000 is an advance towards the programme payment, so it should not be added a second time to full tuition. Its remaining instalment dates are communicated with the offer.
The B.Tech semester amounts do not establish a university-wide application charge or seat-confirmation amount. Application, first tuition instalment and any deposit are different payments; the 2027 offer determines the amount and deadline for each applicable charge.

Lakeside Hostel Occupancy and Residential Costs
The Lakeside boys’ residence describes single and double occupancy. The girls’ residence describes single, two-, three- and four-sharing accommodation. A payable annual room-and-food tariff is not specified in the residence descriptions, so there is no verified hostel amount to add to CSE’s ₹14 lakh tuition.
A residential budget needs the chosen occupancy, mess charge and deposit amount. For a four-year B.Tech, four annual accommodation bills are additional to the eight tuition instalments; a two-year MBA requires two annual residential bills. The applicable written quotation supplies those amounts.

B.Des tuition is ₹1.25 lakh per semester for Product, Communication, Fashion and Interior Design, giving ₹2.50 lakh for two semesters and ₹10 lakh over four years at unchanged rates. BA LL.B. (Hons.) and BBA LL.B. (Hons.) each total ₹8.50 lakh tuition over five years; the three-year LL.B. totals ₹4.50 lakh.
MCA tuition totals ₹4 lakh over two years at this rate. M.Tech CSE totals ₹2 lakh, while M.Tech AI totals ₹2.20 lakh. Separately named programme and campus variants retain their own figures; an amount for one variant does not set the price of another.

How an Approved Scholarship Changes Tuition
The Memorial, Merit, Leadership and Sports schemes are separate scholarship routes. A design applicant can also receive a CMRU DAT award based on the test result. The scholarship calculation uses only the tuition amount and semesters covered by the approved award.
For example, a concession restricted to first-year tuition reduces that year’s tuition rather than every year of a four-year degree. Hostel, mess and deposits remain separate unless the award explicitly covers them. Scholarship percentages or rupee benefits for 2027 are not assumed from the existence of a scheme.
CMR Education Loan: Tuition and Repayment Amount
A CSE tuition-only borrowing requirement is ₹3.50 lakh for the first two semesters or ₹14 lakh for all eight at the current rate. Residential payments increase the amount, while an approved scholarship or family contribution reduces it.
The monthly repayment calculation uses the amount borrowed, interest rate and repayment term. Interest that accrues while studying depends on the lender’s disbursement and moratorium terms; it is additional to the university’s tuition calculation.
