Sitapura campus, laboratories and student life

The university is at Ramchandrapura Industrial Area, Vidhani, Sitapura Extension. Campus facilities include departmental labs, the Central Library, hostels, gymnasium, cafeteria and medical support. The Maker Space and JECRC Incubation Centre provide spaces for project and enterprise activity.

University hostels and named JECRC-approved outside hostels are separate accommodation choices. The campus tariff covers ten months, and current UG hostel allotment is limited to the first two academic years. Accommodation beyond that period needs its own arrangement and budget.

Computing choices and the cost of specialisation

JECRC has several computing routes, including regular CSE, AI & Data Science, Cyber Security, Cloud Computing and Software Product Engineering. BCA, MCA and industry-linked options allow different entry qualifications and specialisations.

The academic price varies substantially within CSE. Regular CSE has a ₹2.45 lakh annual fee, industry specialisations ₹2.75 lakh and Kalvium Software Product Engineering ₹3.25 lakh in 2026–27. The shared ₹1.74 lakh annual tuition does not make the complete bills equal, because the other annual component changes. Campus hostel availability is another constraint for a four-year degree.

Reasons to consider JECRC University

  • Several computing routes: regular CSE, BCA and MCA sit alongside named AI, cloud, cyber security and software-product courses.
  • Fees are broken down: tuition, other annual charges, admission/alumni and instalments are listed separately.
  • Tuition scholarships: the published entry schemes cover marks or accepted exam results, subject to programme conditions.
  • Engineering outcomes are available: the latest four-year group has 432 placements from 613 graduates and a ₹4.25 lakh median.

Reasons to compare other options

  • CSE costs differ substantially: the annual fee ranges from ₹2.45 lakh for regular CSE to ₹3.25 lakh for Software Product Engineering with Kalvium.
  • UG campus hostel allotment is limited: the published period is two years, so later accommodation needs a separate plan.
  • Scholarship renewal has conditions: academic performance, attendance and conduct affect continuation.
  • Management salary has a different median: the latest two-year Management group reports ₹4 lakh, against a ₹5.10 lakh regular MBA academic cost at the current rate.

Student ratings for social life, facilities and accommodation

The reviewed set gives JECRC 4.1 out of 5 from 1,324 reviews. Social life scores 4.4, infrastructure 4.2, academics and faculty 4.1 each, placements 4.0 and accommodation 3.7.

The lower accommodation score sits alongside a higher social-life score, showing that different parts of the experience receive different assessments. These student accounts add context to the university’s separate room tariffs, course requirements and graduating-batch outcomes.

4.1/5
Useful coding books, student clubs and interview training; food and attendance rules draw criticism.

Aryan values the library collection for coding, the cafeteria and the chance to join technical and cultural clubs. He describes approachable teachers and a course that covers skills used by employers. Placement preparation started before the final year in his BCA batch, including training during the summer break. He also points to a strict attendance requirement, hostel food that needs improvement and the travel involved in finding accommodation outside campus. His review is from the 2022 intake.

BBA develops presentation and communication skills, but large classes and summer heat affect lessons.

Devansh describes a BBA course with work on communication, presentations and other business skills. He found teachers easy to approach and mentions a paid summer role helping the university with admissions, alongside international internship routes through IAESTE. Student clubs and the JU Rhythm festival were a large part of his campus experience. His main concerns are a class of about 130 students and classrooms without air conditioning during Jaipur’s summer. He joined in 2023.

Supportive computer-language teachers and private hostel rooms; laboratory equipment needs attention.

Sumit found BCA teachers available for help, both in their cabins and by phone. He studied several programming languages and describes computing clubs, sports and campus recruitment training before final-year hiring. The apartment-style hostel gave him an individual room and four meals a day. He also says some laboratory computers were poorly maintained and the number of machines did not always match the student count. He wanted more practical learning and closer supervision during lab sessions.

2.9/5
Approachable teachers and programming fundamentals come with concerns about hostel value and practical exposure.

Manavraj describes teachers who were ready to answer questions and a CSE course covering programming, logical reasoning and communication. He found the exam schedule manageable but wanted more practical and industry-based work. His account mentions furnished hostel rooms and regular cleaning, while criticising the food, residential timings and the location of an off-campus hostel. He also felt some assignments added little value. He wrote this as a first-year student, so his placement comments were based on what he had heard from seniors.
