JECRC cutoff 2027: eligibility and merit order
- B.Tech
- 60% Class 12
- Subjects and relaxation apply
- JEE Main
- First preference
- Then CUET UG and Class 12 merit
- Closing-rank table
- Not verified for the university
- Affiliated college ranks kept separate
JECRC University has no verified branch-wise last-admitted JEE rank for the 2027 intake. Its current B.Tech selection order is JEE Main merit first, CUET UG merit next and Class 12 aggregate merit for vacant seats.
The 60% Class 12 academic threshold, or 55% after the specified relaxation, is a qualifying condition. It does not identify the last selected CSE or Mechanical candidate. A scholarship percentile is another separate financial condition.
JECRC University and the RTU-affiliated JECRC engineering college have different admission identities. A college counselling cutoff cannot be assigned to the university without matching the institution and route.
Minimum marks and programme-specific conditions
B.Tech requires 60% Class 12 aggregate with passes in English, Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology or a technical vocational subject. The specified categories receive a five-point relaxation.
BCA and BBA require 60% and English, while MBA and MCA require the relevant bachelor’s qualification at the stated marks. Academic eligibility and the selection order remain two distinct parts of admission.
How the B.Tech preference order works
The current instructions give first preference to JEE Main merit, second to CUET UG and then qualifying-examination merit for vacancies. They describe selection priority rather than one guaranteed score for every branch.
Software Product Engineering with Kalvium also requires KNET and a personal interview. For lateral entry, the qualifying diploma or eligible B.Sc, branch conditions and remaining study requirements form a separate entry route.
| Order / condition | Published rule |
|---|---|
| First preference | Valid JEE Main result for the stated admission cycle |
| Next route | CUET UG in the current instructions |
| Further merit route | Class 12 aggregate under the current instructions |
| Academic eligibility | Required subjects, marks and permitted relaxation |
| Branch closing ranks | No reliable university-specific round-wise table verified |
Scholarship percentiles do not define seat closing ranks
The JEE merit scholarship includes 15% tuition relief for the stated 85–89.99 percentile band and a higher award above the stated 90 boundary. The boundary at exactly 90 needs confirmation because the page and prospectus wording differ.
Those bands decide financial assistance under the 2026–27 policy. They do not establish the last admitted CSE rank. MBA’s CAT-based scholarship bands likewise govern tuition assistance rather than a universal MBA selection cutoff.
Read the scholarship distinction
A scholarship band sets the tuition award under that scheme. It does not show the last student allotted a particular branch. The fee tool uses the covered tuition and published scholarship route.
The policy’s academic, category and continuation conditions remain attached to the award. The scholarship table and calculator show those details.
Questions about JECRC admission scores
Is 90 JEE percentile the CSE admission cutoff?
No verified branch closing rank is established by the scholarship band. JEE merit, CUET UG and Class 12 merit form the stated admission preference order, while scholarship percentiles govern tuition relief.
