Your study payments
Regular CSE costs ₹2,45,000 per year in 2026–27: ₹1,74,000 tuition plus ₹71,000 other annual fees. The one-time non-refundable admission and alumni charge is ₹10,000.
The first instalment is ₹1,32,500 including that one-time charge, followed by ₹1,22,500. Year one therefore totals ₹2,55,000. Each later year is ₹2,45,000 at the same published annual rate.
Multiplying the annual fee by four and adding ₹10,000 once gives ₹9,90,000. This is a calculation at the 2026–27 rate, before the separate application and accommodation charges. It contains no assumed future fee increase.
Annual and complete academic amounts
Regular BCA costs ₹1.50 lakh annually, producing ₹4.60 lakh for the three-year route or ₹6.10 lakh for honours at that rate. MCA is ₹1.70 lakh annually and ₹3.50 lakh over two years. The named regular MBA is ₹2.50 lakh annually and ₹5.10 lakh over two years.
BBA is ₹1.40 lakh annually and ₹4.30 lakh for three years. These complete amounts include the ₹10,000 admission and alumni charge once. Specialised variants can have a different annual other-fee component, so the degree name and duration are part of the price.

The 2026–27 campus tariff covers ten months. The AC three-seated category is ₹1.72 lakh, the non-AC three-seated category ₹1.42 lakh and the non-AC four-seated category ₹1.27 lakh. A one-time ₹5,000 non-refundable hostel registration is additional.
The corresponding first payments, including registration, are ₹1.08 lakh, ₹90,000 and ₹81,000; second payments are ₹69,000, ₹57,000 and ₹51,000. Current UG campus allotment is for two academic years or four semesters and depends on availability.
Named outside options include Green Meadows Boys Hostel at ₹1.40 lakh for a double room and Seasons Park Girls Hostel at ₹1.55 lakh for a double or ₹1.40 lakh for a triple room. Their stated package inclusions and additional electricity charges belong to that hostel, and the registration charge must be counted once.

Transport, summer stay and package additions
University transport costs ₹55,000 annually in 2026–27, split into ₹33,000 and ₹22,000, with applicable GST additional. This is separate from the academic fee.
Campus hostel fees cover ten months; summer-semester accommodation has a separate charge. The instructions also allow later-year hostel revisions. An approved outside-hostel package may include bus service, so its actual inclusions determine whether another transport payment is needed.
| Charge | Published amount / treatment | Payment period |

| University transport | ₹55,000 in 2026–27 | ₹33,000 at admission; ₹22,000 second semester |

Tuition scholarships and annual renewal
The 2026–27 UG merit scheme gives 15% tuition relief for 70–84.99% Class 12 aggregate and 25% for 85% or above. For regular CSE’s ₹1,74,000 annual tuition, these are ₹26,100 and ₹43,500 respectively. Other fees and admission/alumni remain payable.
The JEE route has separate General-category percentile bands. Only the higher of the Class 12 and JEE merit awards applies. Renewal is reviewed each year and requires 8.0 CGPA, the stated attendance condition and no compartment, subject to the policy’s conduct rules.
The wording at exactly 90 JEE percentile and exactly 75% attendance is inconsistent between the scholarship rule and examples or prospectus. These boundaries need an individual award or renewal confirmation. Transfer/lateral entry, Ph.D. and students already receiving specified outside assistance are excluded from the stated merit scheme.
UG Class 12 aggregate
| Result | Tuition scholarship |
|---|---|
| Class 12 aggregate: 70% to 84.99% | 15% |
| Class 12 aggregate: 85% and above | 25% |
All eligible UG courses; lateral/transfer routes excluded.
B.Tech JEE Main percentile · General category
| Result | Tuition scholarship |
|---|---|
| JEE Main 2026: 85 to 89.99 percentile (General category) | 15% |
| JEE Main 2026: above 90 percentile (General category); the prospectus includes 90 | 25% |
B.Tech regular first-year entry, General category.
MBA CAT percentile
| Result | Tuition scholarship |
|---|---|
| CAT 2025: 40 to 59.99 percentile | 15% |
| CAT 2025: above 60 percentile | 25% |
Eligible MBA entry under the stated CAT-year policy.
Continuation of the scholarship
- Academic performance: minimum CGPA 8.0 and no compartment in a subject.
- Attendance: the main rule states 75% in each course; an example says 75% or less loses the award. At exactly 75%, the university must confirm continuation.
- Review: at the end of the even semester each year, covering both semesters of the preceding academic year.
- Conduct: the policy allows withdrawal for an act of indiscipline; academic restoration rules do not restore a disciplinary withdrawal.
Additional category award and excluded routes
The policy lists one additional 10% tuition award for a qualifying category. Its charging period is not defined clearly enough to add it automatically to the annual merit calculation.
- NCC ‘A’ certificate
- Alumni
- Sibling
- JU employee
- Single mother
- Single girl child
- War widow
- Father from ex-services/paramilitary forces killed in action
- Sports medallist at a minimum state-level tournament conducted by an Indian Olympic Association-recognised federation
Routes excluded in the published scheme
- Transfer/lateral admission in any course
- Ph.D. pages state that scholarship is not applicable
- Candidates already receiving educational financial assistance from the Government or a private organisation
Only the higher applicable academic-merit or JEE award is used; merit percentages are not added together.
CSE academic balance after an approved award
A 25% scholarship on ₹1,74,000 annual CSE tuition is ₹43,500. Adding the unchanged ₹71,000 other annual fee gives ₹2,01,500 for that covered year before the one-time admission and alumni charge. With that ₹10,000 charge in year one, the academic amount becomes ₹2,11,500.
This example applies only to the covered year. Later-year awards depend on renewal. Hostel, transport and application charges are outside this tuition reduction, and a separate category award cannot be assumed without its approved terms.
Education loans and the MS Fincap facility
JECRC links Vidya Lakshmi for education-loan applications. Its 2026 prospectus also describes an MS Fincap academic-fee EMI facility with zero interest, alongside a processing fee and GST.
The EMI facility is subject to credit checks and repayment assessment. The zero-interest description therefore does not mean every financing charge is zero, and financing does not reduce the underlying academic fee as a scholarship would.

Repayment estimate for the academic borrowing amount
Regular CSE has a calculated ₹9.90 lakh academic amount at the 2026–27 rate. A borrowing budget can also include eligible accommodation costs, less family payments and any approved award.
Repayment depends on the amount outstanding when instalments begin, the interest rate and the repayment term. A lender’s study-period interest, processing charge or moratorium terms can change that balance and must be considered separately from the course-fee calculation.
Questions about fees and scholarships
What is included in the ₹9.90 lakh regular CSE amount?
It comprises four years at ₹2.45 lakh annually plus ₹10,000 admission and alumni charged once. The ₹2.45 lakh annual amount includes ₹1.74 lakh tuition and ₹71,000 other fees. Application and accommodation are separate.
Can a four-year UG student assume four years in the campus hostel?
The current campus-hostel instruction limits UG allotment to two years or four semesters, subject to availability. The tariff covers ten months, with summer stay additional.
