MUJ’s 2027 MET cutoff has not been released. Closing ranks are produced after a counselling round, once branch choices and seat allotments have been processed. The previous years’ ranks remain available for comparison.

For 2026 Round 1, General category, the listed MUJ CSE closing rank is 27,882. VLSI Design closes at 24,290 and Electronics and Communication Engineering at 28,875 in that same round. These figures belong to Jaipur, not MIT Manipal or MIT Bengaluru.

A higher rank number in a later round can reflect remaining seats and changed preferences. It should not be presented as a fixed score needed in the next admission year.

The 2026 Round 1 General-category table provides a common point of comparison across branches. Lower numerical ranks indicate a stronger position in the merit list.

The broader year-wise dataset also contains later course closing-rank trends. Those values must retain their trend label when the underlying round is unspecified. They cannot be labelled Round 1 or compared as the same counselling stage.

The 50% engineering eligibility requirement is not the MET cutoff. It refers to the combined marks in the specified Class 12 subjects. A MET closing rank records the last rank allotted a branch in a particular counselling round.

MUJ also publishes direct merit admission rules. For regular CSE, the 2026 route requires 70% in the specified PMX group, or the accepted SAT/JEE condition combined with 60% in that group. Other listed B.Tech branches have their own direct merit conditions. Meeting those marks makes a student eligible for the route; branch allocation still depends on merit and available seats.

The cutoff table and the eligibility selector therefore address different parts of admission. Neither can guarantee a 2027 seat before the next cycle’s rules and allotments are published.

A 2027 cutoff can appear only after 2027 seat allotment. MUJ has not yet published the next MET counselling registration, choice-filling or allotment dates.

In the MET route, the sequence is examination and merit rank, counselling registration, branch preferences, allotment and fee acceptance. Different rounds can have different closing ranks. Direct merit applications follow a separate university assessment and branch allocation process; they do not create the same MET rank cutoff.
