CSE and AIML are four-year B.E. programmes; MBA and MCA take two years. ECE covers electronics and communication, while EEE and Mechanical remain separate engineering branches. M.Tech CSE is a postgraduate engineering course for eligible CSE or Information Science graduates.

The published management academic totals are ₹15 lakh for CSE/AIML, ₹12 lakh for ECE and ₹10 lakh for EEE/Mechanical in the 2025–26 schedules. MBA and MCA are ₹7 lakh each for two years; M.Tech CSE is ₹2 lakh. These amounts exclude hostel. KCET seats have a separate fee route. All branches, postgraduate degrees and research subjects appear in the course accordions.

Where is the NHCE campus?

NHCE is at New Horizon Knowledge Park, Outer Ring Road, Bellandur Post, near Marathahalli, Bengaluru 560103. The college has teaching blocks, department laboratories, a central library, sports facilities and separate hostels for boys and girls. Its student activities include departmental clubs, an IEEE student branch and the Sargam cultural festival.

Travel is part of the day-scholar experience. ECE student Arjun describes a journey of more than 10 km taking about an hour in traffic. This is his own commute, rather than a fixed travel time from every part of Bengaluru. Students staying on campus pay the separate annual hostel tariff.

Reasons to choose NHCE, and the drawbacks

Reasons to consider NHCE

  • A Bengaluru engineering campus: the Outer Ring Road location is near the Bellandur technology corridor.
  • Several entry routes: KCET counselling and management admission have separate processes and fee columns.
  • Dated placement records: the official NIRF submission includes graduates, placements, higher studies and medians for three batches.
  • Student activities and facilities: the linked students describe clubs, sports, digital library access and helpful teachers.

Reasons to compare other colleges

  • Management CSE is a large commitment: its named ₹15 lakh academic schedule becomes ₹21.40–22.60 lakh with four years of the listed hostel packages, before unitemised charges.
  • Travel can be slow: the ECE review describes Outer Ring Road traffic affecting a long commute.
  • Attendance and extra payments matter: reviewers mention strict attendance, fines, exam charges and lab notebooks.
  • No branch median in the NIRF table: the ₹5.50 LPA UG median combines engineering branches.

NHCE combines a Bengaluru location with an autonomous, VTU-affiliated engineering degree. Its campus has branch-specific labs and a central library, and the available student accounts describe active clubs and helpful teachers. The engineering placement submission gives three years of graduate counts and salary medians, making outcomes easier to compare by batch.

The main drawbacks are cost and daily restrictions. Management CSE academic fees are ₹15 lakh in the published schedule, before hostel and additional charges. Reviewers mention strict attendance, fines, examination payments and lab notebooks. Outer Ring Road traffic can also make a long commute tiring. The engineering median combines branches, so there is no separate CSE salary median in that table.

What do students say about NHCE?

3.9/5
Industry labs, approachable teachers and a long commute

Arjun values the industry-sponsored labs, helpful teachers and location near technology companies. He describes electives, internship choices, clubs and access to library books and PDFs. He feels the curriculum needs more practical work and says the exam schedule leaves little preparation time. Traffic is his main concern: travelling from more than 10 km away can take an hour.

Supportive teachers, sports and extra charges

Kaif joined through KCET counselling. He likes teachers who help students explore topics beyond the syllabus, sports facilities, clubs and the digital library. His review describes internship tasks in data handling and web development. He says students need to build professional skills beyond classroom basics. Class timings, fines, lab notebooks and semester examination charges are his concerns.

Smart classrooms and clubs, with strict attendance

Keertana chose NHCE through KCET counselling partly because it was close to home. She likes the smart classrooms, clean washrooms, four canteens and active student clubs. She describes ECE topics including hardware, software and signal analysis, with a mentor assigned to each student group. Her concerns are strict attendance, fines and some teachers being overly strict.

Teaching, laboratories, clubs and attendance recur in the selected student accounts. Arjun discusses ECE classes and traffic; Mohammed Kaif describes AIML teachers, sports and extra payments; Keertana covers classrooms, canteens and attendance rules. Their enrolment years differ, so the accounts describe different batches. Each reviewer’s name opens the full account.
