The university application portal includes a 2027–28 academic-year option. A common last date for all programmes and a complete 2027 counselling calendar have not been announced. The portal also retains 2026–27 wording, so the selected academic year matters when an application is created.
KCET and Karnataka PGCET admissions follow their own examination and allotment schedules. A university application date is separate from an entrance-registration deadline. Completed 2026 hostel renewal dates do not apply to students seeking a new 2027 seat.

KCET/COMEDK or another accepted entrance route, followed by counselling or the university admission process. Class 12 with Physics and Mathematics and an accepted third subject; at least 45% in these subjects together (40% for the eligible reserved category).

Upload the required documents
Prepare marksheets, identity proof and the required entrance score. Postgraduate courses also need the qualifying degree documents.
Complete the test or selection
Use the course’s published test, merit, interview or statutory counselling process. Retain your application and score details.
Read the offer and fee schedule
Check the degree, campus, intake, scholarship, first payment and deposit. Match named fees already included in the course total.
Pay and book accommodation
Pay through the designated university route. Select the actual room and meal option when accommodation is needed.
Finish verification and enrolment
Keep payment receipts and complete original-document verification and enrolment within the offer’s deadline.
Applications begin with an online account. The university uses the registered email address for admission correspondence and does not allow it to be changed during enrolment.

After selection or counselling allotment, the admission offer sets the seat-payment and reporting requirements. The MBA in Fintech has a separate brochure-led process involving application, shortlisting, registration payment and an admission letter.
Presidency University eligibility for B.Tech, BCA, MBA and MCA
B.Tech admission requires at least 45% in the specified Class 12 subjects together, with 40% for eligible reserved-category applicants. The programme gives Physics/Mathematics as compulsory subjects with a permitted additional subject. Lateral entry has separate diploma, B.Sc. or vocational qualification rules.
- BCA General, Data Science and AI and Machine Learning: Class 12 or equivalent with at least 40% aggregate.
- MBA Business Analytics: a bachelor’s degree of at least three years with 50%, or 45% for eligible reserved-category applicants.
- MCA: graduation with 50%, or 45% for eligible reserved-category applicants; Mathematics at Class 12 or graduation is preferred.
Academic eligibility and an entrance closing rank are different requirements. B.Tech counselling uses the relevant KCET or COMEDK route; Karnataka PGCET covers postgraduate seats.

Presidency University scholarship applications
The university offers scholarship categories for academic merit, sports, cultural achievement, leadership and special achievement. Its current named application is Talent Quest Scholarship 2026. A 2027 award schedule or an automatic scholarship for every applicant has not been announced.
The application asks for the admission number, academic results and supporting certificates. A Scholarship Committee reviews applications. Ordinarily, one scholarship can be awarded to a student at a time unless a specific rule allows otherwise.

Can I apply for BCA with 40% in Class 12?
The official BCA General, Data Science and AI and Machine Learning programme requirements state a minimum of 40% aggregate in Class 12 or an equivalent recognised examination.
Is KCET used for Presidency University B.Tech admission?
Yes. KCET is one of the engineering admission routes. COMEDK is also listed for B.Tech admission. The branch, category and counselling round determine the closing rank.
Is the application fee refundable?
No. The university’s enrolment instructions state that the application fee is non-refundable. The payable amount depends on the application; the Fintech MBA brochure lists ₹1,080.
