Why choose Woxsen, and what could make it unsuitable?

Reasons to consider it

  • B.Tech and MBA have separate placement reports with median figures, which makes comparison easier.
  • The fee schedule separates academic, accommodation, food and facilities charges.
  • Design, law, management and engineering are available on one residential campus.

Reasons to think twice

  • Compulsory residential charges make the full cost much higher than tuition alone.
  • Scholarships do not reduce accommodation, food or all academic components.
  • The university received university status in 2020, so many programmes have a shorter graduate history than older institutions.

Woxsen has an AI and Robotics Studio, Bloomberg Finance Lab, design facilities and campus sports facilities. These are relevant strengths for students whose course uses those facilities. Its 2022–26 B.Tech batch recorded a median CTC of ₹8.95 lakh, while the 2024–26 MBA median was ₹9.20 lakh.

  • Reasons to consider Woxsen: residential access to academic and sports facilities, separate engineering and management placement reports, and courses spanning several disciplines on one campus.
  • Reasons to look elsewhere: the compulsory residential bill makes B.Tech CSE’s Standard-plan total ₹30.60 lakh. A student seeking a lower-cost day-scholar course cannot remove hostel and meals from the published residential programme.
  • Scholarship limits: fee waivers apply to Academic Fee Part 2. Learning resources, the commitment payment and living charges remain payable unless an award expressly covers them.

Student accounts praise the library and sports facilities, but also mention high costs, uneven food quality and differences in teaching experience.
