Woxsen’s current admission rules do not provide one university-wide 2027 closing rank or CAT percentile. Admission uses an accepted entrance test and a personal interview alongside the course’s qualifying requirements. The selection decision is based on the composite assessment.
A minimum qualifying percentage is different from a closing rank. For example, B.Tech’s published 55% aggregate requirement describes who can apply; it is not a JEE Main percentile cutoff. The MBA’s 60% graduation requirement is similarly an academic eligibility rule.
The published admission material does not give a numeric 2027 W-JEET, CAT or NMAT selection threshold. Entrance scores and the interview are considered together in the admission assessment.
Minimum marks and accepted tests for each stream
The test route depends on the degree. B.Tech accepts W-JEET and specified national/state tests. MBA applicants can use WAT, CAT, NMAT, XAT, GMAT or GRE. Design uses WDT or another accepted design test, while B.Arch requires NATA.
| Degree | Published qualifying requirement | Selection route |
|---|---|---|
| B.Tech | 55% Class 12 aggregate; at least 50% in each PCM subject | Accepted engineering test + interview |
| MBA General / Business Analytics | 60% in bachelor’s degree | Accepted management test + interview |
| MBA Experienced Professionals | 60% bachelor’s + at least 3 years’ experience | Accepted management test + interview |
| BBA / BA (Hons.) | 55% in Class 12 | WAT / SAT + selection process |
| B.Des (Hons.) | 55% in Class 12 | WDT / accepted design test + selection process |
| Law integrated degrees | 55% in Class 12 | WLAT / accepted law test + selection process |
The university’s eligibility page labels its requirements for the 2026 commencement. Any change for the 2027 intake must be reflected in the course’s admission terms.

| MBA 2027 Scholar’s Round | 14 November 2026 | Application deadline |
| MBA 2027 Scholar’s Round | 14 December 2026 | Commitment deadline for the additional scholarship |
| UG, M.Tech and M.Des 2027 Scholar’s Round | 1 December 2026 | Application deadline |
| UG, M.Tech and M.Des 2027 Scholar’s Round | 4 January 2027 | Commitment deadline for the additional scholarship |
The 2027 Scholar’s Round scholarship assessment requires both an entrance scorecard and a completed personal interview. An application alone does not establish the additional scholarship award. MBA’s announced application deadline is 14 November 2026, while undergraduate, M.Tech and M.Des applications have a 1 December 2026 deadline for this round.
After selection, the additional award is retained only if the required commitment is paid by 14 December 2026 for MBA or 4 January 2027 for the specified UG, M.Tech and M.Des courses. Scholarship deadlines do not supply a missing exam cutoff. The score assessment, offer and payment each represent a different stage of admission.
Questions students ask about Woxsen
What is Woxsen’s CAT cutoff for MBA 2027?
The current official admission material accepts CAT but does not give a verified numeric 2027 CAT cutoff. Selection also includes the personal interview and academic eligibility.
Can I get Woxsen B.Tech admission with 55% in Class 12?
The published academic requirement is 55% aggregate with at least 50% individually in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. An accepted entrance score and the selection process are also required; 55% alone does not confirm admission.
Does Woxsen accept NMAT scores?
Yes. NMAT is an accepted MBA test. The published material does not establish a confirmed numeric NMAT cutoff for the 2027 intake.
Are scholarship eligibility and admission cutoff the same?
No. Admission selection and the scholarship award are separate decisions. The additional Scholar’s Round award depends on the completed entrance/interview assessment and timely seat confirmation.
