Documents needed for the application and final admission
Application and verification checklist
- Class 10 and Class 12 marksheets for undergraduate admission.
- Graduation marksheets and degree for postgraduate admission.
- Entrance scorecard where the course requires a test.
- Identity proof, photograph and the documents requested in the application.
- Category or scholarship evidence if applying under that category.
- Allotment letter and payment receipts for counselling and enrolment.
The application needs the academic information and entrance result for the chosen degree. Undergraduate admission is confirmed after the Class 12 result; postgraduate admission depends on the qualifying bachelor’s result. An awaited result can be declared while applying.
- Undergraduate: Class 10 and 12 academic documents and the accepted entrance scorecard.
- Postgraduate: bachelor’s degree results and the relevant test score; MBA for Experienced Professionals also requires evidence of at least three years’ work experience.
- M.Des: a design or innovation portfolio. Applicants from other disciplines may present relevant projects, research or professional work.
- Reservation or scholarship: documents supporting the claimed domicile, academic record or sports achievement.
Document verification and the final offer establish the degree, batch, award and payment schedule. A provisional offer based on an awaited result is conditional.
How the 2027 Scholar’s Round scholarship works
Undergraduate and postgraduate applicants are considered for merit scholarships through the admission assessment. The regular merit award can reach 50% of Academic Fee Part 2. A separate sports scholarship can cover up to 100% of that academic component for eligible applicants.
The Scholar’s Round offers selected applicants an additional 10% merit scholarship. Selection requires both an entrance scorecard and a completed interview. The additional award must appear in the offer letter; applying before the deadline alone does not secure it.
MBA applicants receiving that additional award must confirm by 14 December 2026. The corresponding date for undergraduate, M.Tech and M.Des applicants is 4 January 2027. Food, accommodation, facilities, learning resources and the admission commitment remain separate from the scholarship base.
