Landran campus and student facilities

The Landran campus is at Sector 112, Mohali, Punjab 140307. Teaching and practical study take place through the group’s engineering, pharmacy, business, technology and hospitality institutions, with laboratories, library resources, sports and student activities.

Hostel packages offer AC and non-AC rooms with different sharing arrangements. The 2026 room packages include mess and laundry and range from ₹1.15 lakh annually for non-AC four-sharing to ₹1.70 lakh for AC two-sharing. These living costs sit alongside the selected degree’s academic fee.

How the constituent college affects course choice

Landran combines engineering, pharmacy, business and hospitality on one campus. Computing applicants have several B.Tech branches as well as BCA and MCA routes. Pharmacy applicants can choose between undergraduate pharmacy, Pharm.D and eligible postgraduate study.

The college named on the offer matters. In NIRF 2025, CEC and CGC College of Engineering appear in different engineering bands, and Pharmacy has its own rank and outcomes. A group highest offer is a different measure from a particular college’s median or placed-student count. Accommodation also adds a substantial annual amount to a multi-year degree.

Reasons to consider Landran

  • CSE academic fees: the 2026–27 four-year amount is ₹6.73 lakh, before hostel and separate payments.
  • Multiple computing routes: CSE, IT, AIML, AI & Data Science and other named branches are listed alongside BCA and MCA.
  • Pharmacy has a named national ranking: Chandigarh College of Pharmacy is #69 in NIRF 2025 Pharmacy.
  • Student accounts describe practical exposure: the linked reviews discuss labs, placement preparation, projects and clubs.

Reasons to compare other colleges

  • Hostel changes the budget: four years of the lowest listed ₹1.15 lakh tariff add ₹4.60 lakh at current rates.
  • Group hiring totals need context: offers and recruiters are different from individual placements in a named graduating batch.
  • CEC’s 2023–24 NIRF group has more higher-study students than placements: 718 went for higher studies and 287 were placed from 1,331 graduates.
  • Course and college matter: fees, approvals and outcomes should be matched to the constituent college on the offer.

Student experiences of teaching and practical study

Students describe approachable teachers, support during practical sessions, student clubs, cultural activities and access to library resources. These comments relate to everyday study and campus life.

Other reviewers want more industry projects and practical teaching, mention large CSE classes or a crowded gym, and discuss early fee requests and additional transport costs. One BBA account reports no course placement at the time of writing. These are experiences from individual courses and periods, rather than a common result for every Landran student.

4.4/5
Helpful teachers and an active campus, with crowded CSE classes

Nishant finds most teachers approachable, especially during practicals and doubt sessions. He chose the IoT and cyber security course for its subject mix and describes a friendly campus with students from different backgrounds, cultural events and coding competitions. His main concerns are the large number of students in CSE branches, some dated subjects and the need for more practical work. He also finds transport and extra charges high. His review describes a disciplined campus, with limited evening access to facilities.

4.0/5
Good core CSE subjects and student clubs; more practical teaching needed

Aayush likes the clean campus, friendly students and active clubs. His course covers data structures, operating systems, databases, networks and newer computing subjects. He feels coding labs and projects help with internships, while some classroom teaching relies too much on slides and written theory. He values the library and digital resources. His concerns include requests for fees before the next semester, a crowded gym and uneven experiences with teachers. He chose Landran after comparing its cost and campus life with other private colleges.

4.3/5
Clear teaching and classroom presentations, with concerns about placements

Jashanpreet describes helpful BBA teachers who use real examples, presentations and group discussions. She likes the campus upkeep and the chance to join activities. Her review mentions internships and skill workshops, but says her course had not offered placements at the time she wrote it. She would like more company visits and industry links. Her concerns include classrooms without air conditioning and fewer sports choices for women. She is a day scholar, so her comments about hostel timings come from a friend rather than her own stay.

CEC alumni examples in technology

Anmol Bhateja entered CSE in 2018 and graduated in 2022; the CEC testimonial describes his Amazon Development Center India offer of ₹45 lakh annually. Simran Sidana, who entered in 2017 and graduated in 2021, is identified as a Software Development Engineer at Walmart Labs with a ₹22 lakh offer.

These are historical individual examples from Chandigarh Engineering College. Their batch, college and employer identify the result more precisely than treating them as a salary expected by a later CGC Landran class.
