Chandigarh Engineering College’s 2023–24 four-year engineering cohort had 1,331 graduates, 287 placed and an ₹8 lakh median annual salary. Another 718 entered higher studies. The NIRF 2025 return identifies CEC, rather than every Landran college or CSE alone.
Chandigarh College of Pharmacy’s B.Pharm cohort in 2023–24 had 105 graduates, 19 placed and a ₹4.75 lakh median, with 63 in higher studies. M.Pharm recorded 24 placed from 27 graduates at ₹7.4 lakh.
The group’s ₹1.14 crore B.Tech highest-offer highlight belongs to 2026. Its 10,000-plus offers and more than 1,300 recruiters headline refers to the 2025 batch. Offers can include multiple offers to one student and are not a unique placed-student count.
CEC engineering median rose while placed counts fell
CEC’s four-year engineering median was ₹4 lakh in 2021–22, ₹6.4 lakh in 2022–23 and ₹8 lakh in 2023–24. The corresponding placed counts were 488 of 1,387 graduates, 405 of 1,402 and 287 of 1,331.
Higher-study counts rose from 325 to 515 and then 718. The rising median therefore describes a smaller placed group across these cohorts. The two-year engineering PG group in 2023–24 had 34 placed from 72 graduates, an ₹8.7 lakh median and 35 progressing to higher studies.

CEC mandatory-disclosure averages
CEC’s 2025–26 mandatory disclosure includes a row labelled 2025–26 with 1,189 total students, 437 placed, ₹5.24 lakh average, ₹20.5 lakh highest and ₹1.44 lakh lowest package. The 2024–25 row has 1,038 total students, 253 placed and a ₹6.04 lakh average.
The document does not define total students as graduates or placement-eligible students and does not provide an as-of date or completion status for the 2025–26 row. A placement rate cannot be derived reliably from those totals. The disclosure averages also belong to a different reporting table from the NIRF graduating-cohort medians.

Highest offer and group hiring headlines
The group’s official account attributes the ₹1.14 crore highest annual offer to B.Tech 2026. Its separate 2025-batch headline gives more than 10,000 offers and more than 1,300 recruiters.
The highest package is an individual maximum. Offers are not unique students, and the recruiter total is an organisation count. A group-wide average is not established by these headlines; CEC’s disclosed average and each NIRF median retain their own college, measure and batch.
| Published figure | Value | Scope in the official article |
|---|---|---|
| Highest offer | ₹1.14 crore per year | B.Tech 2026 |
| Offers | 10,000+ | 2025 batch |

CSE cost alongside a CEC engineering median
The ₹6.73 lakh CSE academic amount is about 0.84 times CEC’s ₹8 lakh median for four-year engineering graduates in 2023–24. The fee covers four years at the 2026–27 schedule, while the salary is annual gross pay in an earlier placed group.
This is not a CSE-only salary comparison: the median covers CEC engineering and may not match the constituent college on another Landran offer. Hostel and loan interest increase the education cost, while living expenses and take-home pay affect repayment separately.

Questions about Landran placements
Is the ₹8 lakh median a CSE-only package?
It belongs to CEC’s four-year engineering graduating group for 2023–24, with 287 placed from 1,331 graduates and 718 entering higher studies.
Are 10,000 offers the same as 10,000 placed students?
A student may receive multiple offers. The 2025-batch group offer headline is distinct from unique placed-student counts in a particular college and graduating year.
