Your study payments
B.Tech CSE costs ₹6,73,000 for four years in 2026–27. The schedule contains ₹6,72,000 tuition and a ₹1,000 miscellaneous charge in semester one. The first semester is ₹85,000 and each of the other seven is ₹84,000.
Year one is ₹1,69,000; years two, three and four are ₹1,68,000 each. The initial ₹85,000 payment is part of the programme amount, and the ₹1,000 charge is already included in ₹6.73 lakh.
Application, counselling and hostel payments have different purposes. A payment credited towards academic fees reduces the remaining balance; it does not add another academic cost above the published course amount.
Fees for BCA, business, engineering and pharmacy
The named BCA and BBA schedules total ₹3,07,000 for three years: ₹1,03,000 in year one and ₹1,02,000 in each later year. Their first semester is ₹52,000 and each remaining semester ₹51,000.
The named two-year MBA totals ₹3,37,000: ₹1,69,000 in year one and ₹1,68,000 in year two, with an initial ₹85,000 semester followed by three at ₹84,000. B.Pharm totals ₹6.73 lakh for four years. An AIML total is available at ₹6.73 lakh, but its complete semester schedule is not independently itemised.

Eight semesters of ₹84,000 tuition total ₹6,72,000. Adding ₹1,000 miscellaneous fees once gives the ₹6,73,000 academic amount. The first two payments, ₹85,000 and ₹84,000, total ₹1,69,000 for year one.
The remaining six tuition payments total ₹5,04,000. Hostel or an application charge is additional where separately payable, while the first-semester academic payment and its included miscellaneous fee must not be counted twice.

Landran hostel packages by occupancy and AC
The 2026 annual hostel packages include mess and laundry: non-AC four-sharing ₹1,15,000, non-AC two-sharing ₹1,40,000, AC three-sharing ₹1,60,000 and AC two-sharing ₹1,70,000.
For CSE year one, adding non-AC four-sharing to ₹1,69,000 academic fees gives ₹2,84,000. With AC two-sharing, the same subtotal is ₹3,39,000. These examples exclude separately payable application, counselling and any deposit; a separate security amount is not established by the room listing.

Application, counselling and separately billed items
The ₹1,000 CSE miscellaneous charge is already included in its academic total. The ₹2,000 IKGPTU 2026–27 counselling charge belongs to registration and is separate from the college academic fee.
The room packages already include mess and laundry, so those inclusions should not be added again. Any security, transport or other charge needs its own stated amount and payment terms. Missing deposit information does not establish a zero deposit.
Application, counselling and academic fees
The course fee tables contain a ₹1,000 miscellaneous entry. The 2026 PTU counselling registration is a separate ₹2,000 payment. A current 2027 college application charge is not published on the how-to-apply page, so the planner keeps that field open for the actual amount.
Refundable security, examinations and other services
Deposits and optional services are separate from tuition. Their amounts come from the admission or hostel offer. Add a charge only when it is billed separately; the ₹1,000 miscellaneous fee is already inside the academic total.
EMPOWER semester-fee awards and renewal
The 2026–27 EMPOWER academic bands are 100% at 95 and above, 50% at 90 to below 95, 20% at 85 to below 90 and 10% at 80 to below 85. UG bases include the stated Class 12 percentage or entrance percentile; lateral entry uses diploma marks, and PG uses the relevant qualifying-degree or entrance measure.
The detailed scheme uses semester fee as the award base, caps academic awards at 10% of intake and applies first-come-first-served and verification conditions. Renewal requires 8.0 SGPA along with the stated subject-clearance, attendance and discipline conditions.
A qualifying band is therefore a possible award category, rather than a guaranteed rupee reduction for every applicant. A whole-course amount must not be divided into an invented semester base where the instalments or included components differ. The 2027 scheme is not yet confirmed.
Academic merit bands · 2026–27
| Qualifying result | Semester-fee waiver |
|---|---|
| 95% and above | 100% |

| 80% to below 85% | 10% |
Renewal, limits and other listed awards
The academic scheme is capped at 10% of intake and requires at least 8.0 SGPA for renewal, alongside its passing, attendance and discipline conditions. Only one scholarship scheme can be used. Alumni PG, early PG, sports, defence, family and other categories have separate conditions.
Alumni, early PG and special-category EMPOWER awards
The alumni PG scheme lists ₹10,000 for eligible M.Tech, M.Sc, MCA and MBA entrants, with a 7.5 SGPA renewal condition and course-specific intake limits. An early PG award gives ₹5,000 once where full fee payment and enrolment meet the prescribed deadline.
Special categories include single girl child, real siblings, defence families, orphans, single-parent families and eligible sports or cultural achievements. Their rates, verification and intake limits differ. The scheme does not permit automatic stacking of awards, and the early-PG deadline is not specified as a 2027 date.

IKGPTU tuition-waiver seats
The stated TFW route requires Punjab residence, family income below ₹8 lakh and allotment of a designated waiver seat. It covers tuition for the course, while other charges remain payable. The seat cap is 5%.
The 2026 UG schedule includes the relevant B.Tech, BCA and B.Pharm route, with applicable lateral entries under their separate schedule. Applicants need income and residence documents and the designated TFW choice. A family-income condition alone does not convert an ordinary seat into a waiver seat.
Read the TFW eligibility and payment scope
The published TFW guidance covers eligible Punjab residents with family income below ₹8 lakh a year, subject to designated seats and merit. It waives tuition, while other charges remain payable. The 2026 UG and lateral notices identify the eligible course routes and TFW choices.
Borrowing for Landran tuition and living expenses
For CSE, the academic borrowing starting point can be ₹6.73 lakh, reduced by family payments and an approved award. Eligible hostel costs can add ₹1.15–1.70 lakh for a year at the 2026 room tariffs.
A loan estimate uses the principal, annual interest rate and repayment term. Fees cover the programme’s study period, while the loan balance can also reflect interest during study and a moratorium. Scholarship approval and financing approval are separate decisions.
