The GAT and GBAT 2027 application and examination schedule is awaited. The application system currently carries the 2026 admission cycle. An opening date, last date, test day and result day for 2027 cannot yet be assigned to the new intake.
The selected course determines the entrance and selection sequence. Engineering, management, research and medical admission do not share one calendar. Document verification, scholarship acceptance and fee-payment dates are specified with the relevant admission offer.
GITAM application stages and charges
Register with the applicant portal, enter the current qualification and subjects, and select Visakhapatnam and the intended programme. The application charge is ₹1,200 for regular undergraduate engineering and postgraduate management. Non-engineering UG and PG groups, postgraduate engineering and engineering lateral entry use ₹600. Ph.D applications have a separate ₹1,200 charge.

Entry requirements for CSE, MBA and BBA Financial Markets
B.Tech CSE requires at least 50% or 5.0 CGPA in Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Applicants in the 50–60% group must additionally meet one of the stated Class 10 or GAT conditions. This group also signs the placement-eligibility waiver described for employers with higher school-mark requirements.
MBA requires at least 60% or 6.0 CGPA in a recognised bachelor’s degree, with a valid GBAT, CAT, MAT, NMAT, CMAT, SNAP or AP/TG ICET score. BBA Financial Markets requires at least 50% or 5.0 CGPA in Class 12, Mathematics as a core subject and qualification in GAT.
Law, pharmacy, nursing, architecture and postgraduate science have different qualifying subjects and accepted selection routes.
Documents for GITAM admission and verification
Applicants for undergraduate study need Class 10 and Class 12 qualification records, identity information and a photograph. An entrance-based route also requires its score record. Postgraduate applicants need graduation marksheets and the degree or accepted provisional record.
Scholarship, category and income-based claims require the relevant supporting evidence. The application record should show the same campus and degree as the admission offer. Original-document checks and admission payments must be completed within the stated offer deadlines.

Employee-children, loyalty and sports scholarships are also available under their respective rules. The need-based income threshold differs by course: below ₹8 lakh annually for CSE and below ₹12 lakh for MBA, using the specified combined family-income definition and merit conditions. The applicable award and renewal terms belong to the admitted programme.
