GITAM’s CSE academic minimum is not a branch closing score. Qualifying marks establish whether an applicant meets the entry rule. Entrance results and the applicable selection process determine admission, while scholarship score slabs determine fee awards.
A confirmed 2027 branch-, category- and round-wise closing-score table is awaited. CSE applicants should first meet the published Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics requirement and the additional conditions applying to the 50–60% group. MBA selection uses graduation eligibility and its accepted management tests.
CSE eligibility for applicants with 50–60% in Class 12
The baseline is 50% or 5.0 CGPA in Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Applicants scoring between 50% and 60% must meet at least one of three alternatives:
- GAT above 85/200 and Class 10 above 75%.
- GAT above 110/200.
- Class 10 above 85%.
These are eligibility alternatives, rather than published final closing scores for a counselling round. The same group must sign a waiver concerning companies that require more than 60% in Class 12 for placement eligibility.
Entrance selection, offer and admission confirmation
The 2027 application and test schedule is awaited. After the relevant examination or accepted score submission, applicants complete the course’s selection process and receive the applicable offer and payment instructions.
The offer should identify Visakhapatnam and the exact programme. Qualification verification, any interview and the admission payment complete different stages of enrolment. Is 50% the final CSE admission cutoff?
It is the academic minimum, with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and additional conditions for the 50–60% group. It is not a final counselling closing score.
Can a student in the 50–60% group qualify through Class 10 marks?
One published alternative is Class 10 marks above 85%. The other alternatives use the specified GAT and, in one case, Class 10 thresholds.
Do scholarship slabs show the last admitted score?
No. Scholarship slabs determine an award. The final admission outcome follows the applicable course selection and offer process.
