Indus fees: full-course totals and payment schedules

Your study payments

The 2026 CSE academic amount is approximately ₹4,13,000 for four years. The matching record does not establish an itemised first-semester or year-one demand. Computer Engineering is separately priced at ₹4,33,000.

The MBA and MCA totals are ₹1,76,000 each for two years; BCA is ₹1,83,000 for three years. Hostel, meals, application charges and any refundable deposit need to be considered separately from these course amounts.

A full-course amount describes the academic cost for that duration. The amount payable at joining depends on the actual instalment demand and on any academic payment already credited to it.

Academic amounts for the Major Courses

Regular engineering fees include CSE ₹4.13 lakh and Computer Engineering ₹4.33 lakh. B.Pharm totals ₹3.19 lakh over four years and B.Arch ₹6,17,750 over five years. The named B.Des Interior Design entry totals ₹10.70 lakh over four years.

The two-year M.Des Interior Design entry has a ₹2.27 lakh academic amount, including ₹2.10 lakh tuition and ₹17,000 other fees, with ₹1.14 lakh in year one. The Fashion and UI-UX M.Des entries carry the verified ₹2.10 lakh tuition amount; other academic charges are additional to that tuition-only figure.

Earlier fee orders and current admission charges

An FRC fee order applies to the admission block and programme named in that order. An older regulated annual tuition amount does not by itself establish the total amount payable by a new 2027 entrant.

The current admission demand must identify tuition, other academic charges and the dates of payment. A payment schedule can differ from a simple equal division of a full-course amount, even where the overall degree cost is known.

Open the earlier FRC fee-order PDF

The official public documents link an FRC order for the 2023–24 admission block. Its original period remains attached to the file; it is separate from a new 2027 fee schedule.

CSE fee discrepancy: ₹4.13 lakh and ₹4.61 lakh

The 2026 structured CSE fee amount is ₹4.13 lakh. A separate description quotes approximately ₹4.61 lakh and ₹1.17 lakh for year one. The difference between the two complete amounts is ₹48,000.

These figures do not form one payment schedule: the ₹1.17 lakh year-one amount cannot be paired with the ₹4.13 lakh total to derive later years. Computer Engineering has its own ₹4.33 lakh structured amount. A written programme-specific fee demand is needed to resolve the CSE discrepancy for a new offer.

Read the two published figures

The CSE structured fee record lists ₹4.13 lakh. Prose on the detailed page also gives ₹4.61 lakh. They are conflicting published figures, rather than two payments to add together. The catalogue uses the structured record; the planner also accepts the amount in a written admission offer.

Registration, token tuition and the balance due

ACPC applicants first pay the counselling-registration charge. After allotment, a token tuition payment confirms the seat under the counselling process. The university then collects the remaining academic amount and completes reporting.

Money credited towards academic fees is part of the course cost and reduces the amount left to pay. A refundable deposit, hostel payment or application charge follows its own purpose and should be identified separately on the demand.

AC and non-AC accommodation at Indus

Indus provides AC and non-AC hostel facilities for boys and girls. The current room-sharing tariff, meal amount, laundry charge and deposit are not fixed by the academic-fee total.

A residential budget needs the named room, period of stay and actual annual charge. Meal inclusion and refundable security affect the initial cash payment. Past student spending is a personal expense record, rather than a current room tariff.

Use the fee for the actual room allotted

The university confirms AC and non-AC hostel facilities. A current named room tariff was not available in the source records used here. Enter the annual room-and-meal amount and any refundable security from the actual hostel offer.

MYSY and TFW eligibility and fee coverage

Published MYSY guidance uses at least the 80th percentile in Class 12 and family income up to ₹6 lakh for the relevant professional-degree entry. The academic rule is a percentile, rather than 80% marks. Historical engineering and pharmacy guidance describes 50% of eligible annual tuition or ₹50,000, whichever is lower; a 2027 award amount is not announced.

TFW requires parental annual income up to ₹8 lakh and allotment of an approved tuition-waiver seat. The waiver covers tuition only. Hostel, meals and other academic charges remain payable. Income eligibility alone does not secure a TFW seat, and the 2026 ACPC MBA/MCA advertisement excludes those courses from supernumerary TFW seats.
MYSY: the published academic and income conditions

The published MYSY criteria for the covered first-year routes use at least the 80th board percentile and family income not above ₹6 lakh a year, with the scheme’s residence, board and course conditions. This is a percentile condition, not simply 80% school marks.

TFW: an allotted tuition-waiver seat

The AICTE 2024–27 handbook gives a parental income ceiling of ₹8 lakh a year for TFW. The waiver covers tuition on an eligible allotted TFW seat, while other charges remain payable. The 2026 ACPC MBA/MCA notice does not offer TFW seats for those PG routes.

Design scholarships and Vidvata tuition assistance

Indus Design School’s admission scheme offers up to 50% scholarship based on entrance-test performance and portfolio. The separate Vidvata scheme advertises up to 100% tuition assistance for selected design-test performers across the four-year B.Des.

The two maximum awards belong to separate schemes. Neither establishes an automatic marks-to-waiver slab for every design applicant. The individual award must specify its tuition coverage, duration and continuation requirements.

Indus Design School scholarships

The current design admission page advertises up to 50% support, while the separate Vidvata page advertises up to 100% tuition support for four years. A fixed score-to-award matrix is not published in those records. The assessment, portfolio and interview remain part of selection.

Costs outside the named academic amount

The total residential expense can include room, meals, refundable security, travel and separately billed academic items. A missing charge has no verified amount; it does not mean that the charge is waived.

For the M.Des Fashion and UI-UX entries, ₹2.10 lakh is tuition only, so the complete academic cost also needs the other charges. For CSE, the confirmed instalment demand is needed before fixing the first-year cash requirement.

Application, services and refundable amounts

The planner adds only separately entered application, service and refundable amounts. An examination, university or one-time charge already contained in a course total is not added again. A published fee for a transcript or certificate is a different service from admission tuition.

Borrowing for academic fees and accommodation

A loan for Indus CSE can cover the ₹4.13 lakh in academic fees plus the eligible accommodation and other costs included by the lender. An approved scholarship or family contribution reduces the amount that must be borrowed.

The repayment estimate depends on the principal outstanding when repayment begins, the annual interest rate and the term. Study-period interest can increase that principal, while the course’s full academic fee remains a separate measure of education cost.

Questions about academic fees and hostel

Is ₹4.13 lakh a year-one CSE fee?

It is the retained approximate four-year academic amount for CSE in the 2026 fee record. The matching first-year and semester payment schedule is not given.

Does family income below ₹8 lakh automatically give TFW?

No. The applicant must also receive an eligible TFW seat through the prescribed merit-allotment process. The waiver covers tuition, while other charges remain payable.
