Lovely Professional University is a private university established in 2005 at Phagwara on the Jalandhar–Delhi Grand Trunk Road in Punjab. It is recognised by the UGC under Section 2(f) and Section 12(B) of the UGC Act and has NAAC A++ accreditation. Engineering, management, computing, agriculture, pharmacy, law, design and science are among its academic fields.

For the 2026–27 fee schedule, general B.Tech CSE has ₹13.20 lakh in academic payments over four years, including tuition and examination fees. MBA General has ₹9 lakh over two years. Residence and meals are additional. LPUNEST B.Tech applications for 2027 close on 15 January 2027 for the announced round.

B.Tech CSE, MBA, BBA, BCA and MCA are major options. Regular B.Tech takes four years, BBA General and BCA General take three years, and MBA and MCA take two years. CSE is available as a general degree and through specialised routes such as Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, Cloud Computing, Cyber Security, Data Science and Full Stack Software Development.

Other choices include B.Arch, B.Com, B.Des, B.Sc Agriculture, M.Tech and postgraduate science and humanities degrees. Agriculture, architecture and pharmacy have different qualifying subjects and professional requirements from CSE. LPU offers general degrees alongside industry-collaborative engineering courses. The CSE curriculum includes core courses, electives, minors, projects and industry activities such as certifications, workshops and hackathons. The general CSE degree and a collaboration bearing a similar name can have different semester fees and selection stages.

The campus has separate residences for men and women, a health centre, library facilities, sports spaces and student organisations. Room occupancy and meal plans can be chosen separately. Residential Wi-Fi is subject to usage conditions and scheduled availability; gym, laundry and some sports facilities have separate charges. A standard residential session lasts about 10 months excluding vacations, so a year-round stay costs more than the regular session rate.

In the Collegedunia 2026 rankings, LPU is placed 327 of 500 in engineering, 133 of 350 for MBA, 14 of 200 in pharmacy and 12 of 200 in agriculture. These are separate subject lists.

NBA accreditation covers B.Tech CSE, Civil Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and MBA for academic years 2024–25 to 2026–27, up to 30 June 2027.
