LPUNEST B.Tech 2027 registration began on 29 September 2026. Slot booking opens on 10 December 2026, and the last date to apply and book a slot is 15 January 2027. The home-proctored examination window is 10 January–5 February 2027; the test-centre window is 20 January–5 February 2027.
Results are scheduled for 8 February 2027. Online counselling follows, with branch preferences, allotment and admission payments completed within the dates for each round. Specified CSE collaborations have interview stages, while Software Product Engineering has a separate schedule. MBA, design and doctoral admission use their respective course schedules.

How to apply for LPU admission
Applicants register through LPU ADMIT with their name, contact details and intended programme, then complete the application and qualifying-examination details. The LPUNEST kit costs ₹1,000 digitally or ₹1,500 in print. This payment is separate from the programme fee.

Eligibility for B.Tech, MBA and other LPU degrees
B.Tech CSE requires 60% aggregate in Class 12 with Physics, Mathematics and English, together with qualifying LPUNEST, JEE Main or CUET through the accepted route. The English-subject condition may be waived when the qualifying education was in English medium or included an equivalent subject. A 5% relaxation applies to specified North-East and Sikkim applicants, defence personnel and dependants, and wards of Kashmiri migrants.
MBA General requires at least 55% in graduation and the applicable entrance and management selection process. BBA and BCA are undergraduate choices after Class 12; their exact subject and marks conditions differ from engineering. MCA requires graduation and the relevant admission route. Agriculture, design, architecture and research degrees have additional subject or selection conditions.
Documents for application and admission confirmation
Undergraduate applicants need Class 10 and Class 12 qualification records, a recent photograph and identity details. Entrance-based applications also require the relevant score or LPUNEST record. Postgraduate applicants need their graduation marksheets and degree or accepted provisional evidence.
A relaxation or scholarship claim requires the relevant supporting certificate. Applicants using a category, defence, regional or other concession should keep those records ready for verification. Admission confirmation requires the qualification and payment conditions attached to the allotted programme to be completed.

LPUNEST admission and scholarship routes
LPUNEST serves as an entrance and scholarship test for participating programmes; some programmes use it for scholarship alone. LPU also considers eligible qualifying-examination results and specified national tests under the applicable scholarship rules.
The award reduces the eligible programme tuition. For general CSE, the 2026–27 programme fee is ₹1.60 lakh per semester, with ₹5,000 examination fees in addition. A tuition scholarship therefore leaves the examination charge payable, along with residence, meals and separately billed services. Scholarship entitlement depends on the course, accepted route, result and conditions in the admission offer.
