NAAC, NBA and professional recognition at LPU
NAAC A++ is the university’s institutional accreditation grade. UGC recognition under Sections 2(f) and 12(B) concerns the university’s recognition status. These serve different purposes from a subject ranking.
NBA accreditation applies to the named B.Tech programmes in CSE, Civil, ECE and Mechanical Engineering and to MBA for 2024–25, 2025–26 and 2026–27, up to 30 June 2027. It should not be extended automatically to every specialisation or later academic year.
The agriculture school and specified B.Sc and M.Sc agriculture programmes have ICAR accreditation. The recognised law programmes are covered by the Bar Council of India; pharmacy degrees by the Pharmacy Council of India; and the named architecture programmes by the Council of Architecture. These programme approvals help establish which professional route the degree belongs to.
