General B.Tech CSE costs ₹1.60 lakh in programme tuition per semester in the 2026–27 schedule. The examination fee is ₹5,000 per semester. Two semesters therefore cost ₹3.30 lakh in academic payments, and eight semesters total ₹13.20 lakh: ₹12.80 lakh tuition plus ₹40,000 examinations.
That academic total excludes the LPUNEST application kit, residence, meals and separately charged services or deposits. The 2026–27 amounts are the published basis for this calculation; the 2027 admission fee schedule is a separate intake figure.

The ₹1,000 digital or ₹1,500 printed LPUNEST kit is paid during application. It is not part of the eight CSE tuition instalments. The first CSE academic semester costs ₹1.65 lakh before scholarship, comprising ₹1.60 lakh tuition and ₹5,000 examinations.
A first year with a four-sharing air-cooled room and four meals costs ₹4.71 lakh at 2026–27 full-session rates: ₹3.30 lakh academics, ₹93,000 room and ₹48,000 meals. The digital application kit raises that stated subtotal to ₹4.72 lakh, before other billed charges. An admission advance credited against tuition reduces the remaining tuition balance and should be counted once.
The same academic and residential rates give ₹4.71 lakh for each later year in a constant-rate calculation. Actual later-session residential charges and any new intake fees depend on the applicable schedule.

MBA General totals ₹9 lakh over two years. Its four tuition instalments of ₹2.20 lakh total ₹8.80 lakh, and four examination payments of ₹5,000 add ₹20,000. Business Analytics and several specialist MBAs total ₹11 lakh in academic payments; Tourism and Hospitality Management totals ₹5.80 lakh.
BBA General totals ₹5.07 lakh across three years, made up of ₹4.80 lakh tuition and ₹27,000 examination fees. Its examination charge is ₹4,500 per semester. BCA General totals ₹5.10 lakh, including ₹4.80 lakh tuition and ₹30,000 examinations. The ₹4 lakh MCA amount is tuition only, so it cannot be compared as a complete academic bill with those examination-inclusive amounts.

The 2026–27 full-session charge for a four-sharing air-cooled room is ₹93,000; four-sharing AC costs ₹1.03 lakh. Two-sharing air-cooled and AC rooms cost ₹1.23 lakh and ₹1.43 lakh respectively. A single-sharing AC room costs ₹1.63 lakh. Studio apartments have a separate schedule.
Standard meals cost ₹48,000 for four meals daily, ₹44,000 for three meals or ₹40,000 for two meals. The à la carte plan is ₹56,000. Room and meal plans are separate payments. The regular residential allocation covers about 10 months excluding vacations; vacation or 12-month residence requires an additional arrangement and payment.
These are full-session rates without the expired Early Decision Benefit. Gym, laundry, parking and swimming can add to residence costs. Residential power backup covers light loads rather than AC, geysers or air coolers. Room allotment is subject to availability.

How a tuition scholarship changes the CSE total
The scholarship calculation begins with ₹12.80 lakh in general CSE tuition across eight semesters. The ₹40,000 examination component remains separate. For illustration, a 50% tuition award that applies for all eight semesters would reduce tuition by ₹6.40 lakh, leaving ₹6.80 lakh in tuition and examinations at the same fee rates.
This illustration assumes the award covers the full course and that its continuation conditions are met. Residence, meals, application payments and additional services are added after the tuition reduction. A scholarship amount should be taken from the approved award rather than assumed from the applicant’s marks alone.
Education-loan repayment for LPU expenses
A loan for CSE may cover a different amount from the ₹13.20 lakh academic total because a family may borrow for only part of tuition, or include hostel and meals in the approved cost. The monthly instalment depends on the amount borrowed, annual interest rate and repayment period.
Interest added during study or a repayment moratorium increases the balance that must eventually be repaid. For example, a lender-sanctioned tuition amount and a four-year residential budget are separate parts of the education cost. The loan principal used for repayment should reflect the lender’s disbursements and any capitalised interest.

Does the hostel charge cover twelve months?
