MIT World Peace University is a UGC-recognised private university in Kothrud, Pune, established in 2017. The earlier Maharashtra Institute of Technology education group began in 1983. The university and its predecessor institutions therefore have different establishment dates.

MIT-WPU offers engineering, computing, management, pharmacy, design, law, commerce, science, media and education, alongside research degrees. B.Tech CSE, BBA (Hons.) and BCA (Hons.) are four-year choices; MBA and MCA take two years.

CSE has ₹4.30 lakh annual tuition and a ₹25,000 refundable academic caution deposit. Four tuition years and that deposit total ₹17.45 lakh at the current annual rate. The 2026 university placement highlights record 2,566 students placed, 2,803 offers, ₹46 LPA highest CTC and ₹6.30 LPA average CTC.

CSE, MBA, BBA, BCA, Pharmacy and Design have separate annual fees and admission routes. Current annual tuition is ₹4.30 lakh for CSE, ₹3.50 lakh for BBA (Hons.), ₹2.10 lakh for BCA (Hons.), ₹2.35 lakh for B.Pharm and ₹4.45 lakh for B.Des Product Design.

MBA Dual Specialisation costs ₹7.10 lakh annually, compared with ₹5.25 lakh for MBA Finance. Both take two years. The Dual Specialisation tuition therefore totals ₹14.20 lakh at the current rate; adding its ₹25,000 academic caution makes ₹14.45 lakh.

The course range also includes specialist engineering degrees, integrated law, commerce, science and after-Class-10 engineering pathways. The course details distinguish regular degrees from lateral-entry, diploma-stage and research options.

CSE combines computing laboratories with a capstone project and final-semester internship. Other departments offer separate routes in design, pharmacy, management, law and the sciences. Engineering students choose between the regular CSE curriculum and specialist degrees such as Cloud Computing or Cyber Security and Forensics.

The financial commitment extends beyond annual tuition. CSE academics are ₹17.45 lakh at the current annual rate. Four Abhivritti Non-AC Triple hostel sessions and housing security take the combined budget to ₹26.50 lakh, before the ₹2,000 application and other personal expenses.

The selected student accounts describe a busy workload and varied teaching experiences. Anagha Naik values teachers and the course structure but raises attendance, compulsory events and upkeep. A Cyber Security and Forensics reviewer asks for stronger specialist teaching and better building and connectivity support.

Anagha Naik’s 2022 CSE intake review rates her experience 4.2/5. She describes several projects and a combination of internal, practical and semester examinations. Her positive comments concern teachers, campus and the updated course structure; her concerns include compulsory events, attendance and washroom maintenance.

The student appreciates the canteen and student group but reports weak connectivity, problems in the computing building and insufficient specialist support.
