MIT-WPU CSE Syllabus and Applied Work
The CSE syllabus progresses from mathematics and programming to core systems and advanced computing. Early semesters include Python, programming foundations, discrete mathematics and computer architecture. Data structures and database management lead into computer networks, AI, software engineering, operating systems and machine learning.
The four tracks are Data Science, Information and Cyber Security, Multimedia and Computer Vision, and Software Design and Development. Applied components include a six-credit capstone in Semester VII and a ten-credit internship in Semester VIII.
The wider curriculum also includes three-credit Rural Immersion in Semester IV and two-credit National Academic Immersion in Semester VI. These sit alongside laboratory, coding and computing work rather than replacing the core technical subjects.
CSE study areas
- Programming: Python, C++, Java and full-stack development.
- Core computing: data structures, algorithms, databases, networks and operating systems.
- Advanced study: AI, machine learning, distributed systems and cybersecurity.
- Applied work: capstone project and the final-semester internship.
MIT-WPU Qualification and Category Routes
CSE checks Class 12 overall marks and the required-subject aggregate separately. The general route needs 50% in both. The eligible Maharashtra reserved-category route uses 45% for those checks. A relevant engineering diploma uses the separate 60% alternative.
MBA Dual also considers school records: the 60% graduation threshold, or eligible 55% alternative, is accompanied by 50% each in Class 10 and 12. BBA, BCA and Product Design have their own English and Class 12 requirements.
Meeting these marks establishes the academic qualification. Entrance performance, SOP, interaction, portfolio or other programme assessments remain part of selection.

MIT-WPU Course Duration and Academic Budget
MBA Dual and MBA Finance have different annual tuition despite both lasting two years. Dual is ₹7.10 lakh per year; Finance is ₹5.25 lakh. Four-year BCA Honours has ₹2.10 lakh annual tuition, while CSE has ₹4.30 lakh.
At unchanged annual rates, BCA tuition and ₹25,000 caution total ₹8.65 lakh. CSE tuition and caution total ₹17.45 lakh. A full comparison also includes the selected years of accommodation and each programme’s qualification and entrance route.

MIT-WPU Engineering After Class 10
The after-Class-10 route consists of three diploma years and three B.Tech years. The CSE diploma stage costs ₹2.25 lakh annually. Its three tuition years total ₹6.75 lakh, and ₹25,000 academic caution takes that priced stage to ₹7 lakh.
The later B.Tech stage uses the regular degree fee applicable in the academic year when it begins. The diploma tuition cannot be repeated for all six years to calculate a full qualification price. The ₹7 lakh figure therefore covers the first three-year stage, with the later degree-stage fees still separate.
Questions About MIT-WPU Courses
How long is MIT-WPU BCA?
The current BCA (Hons.) programme is four years, with ₹2.10 lakh annual tuition. At that rate, four tuition years plus ₹25,000 caution total ₹8.65 lakh.
Does the ₹7 lakh after-Class-10 CSE amount cover all six years?
No. It covers the three-year diploma stage at the current annual fee plus academic caution. The later three-year B.Tech stage uses the degree fees applicable when that stage begins.
