MIT-WPU’s 2026 highlights record 2,566 students placed and 2,803 offers from 750+ visiting companies. Highest CTC is ₹46 LPA, average CTC ₹6.30 LPA and 200+ offers exceed ₹10 LPA. The 237-offer difference between total offers and placed students shows why the two counts should remain separate.
For the 2023–24 four-year Engineering cohort, 1,194 students graduated in minimum time, 715 were placed and 215 entered higher studies. The median salary of placed graduates was ₹6 lakh. In 2022–23, the corresponding figures were 1,275 graduates, 494 placed, 268 higher studies and the same ₹6 lakh median.
The two-year Management cohort for 2023–24 had 900 graduates in minimum time, 546 placed, five higher-studies students and ₹6 lakh median salary. In 2022–23, 899 graduated, 525 were placed and the median was also ₹6 lakh. These older subject-cohort medians remain separate from the 2026 university average.
MIT-WPU CSE Recruiters and Placement Assistance
Cognizant, Amdocs, Deloitte, Persistent, Infosys, Accenture, Quantiphi and TCS appear among CSE recruiters. The list also includes Vodafone and eQ Technologic. A recruiter name does not establish the current number of jobs or a salary for every candidate hired by that company.
CSE advertises 100% placement assistance. This describes support and access to recruitment preparation; it is different from a verified 100% placement rate. The older Engineering median covers the four-year engineering cohort as a group, with no separate CSE branch result.

Student Experiences of Placement Preparation
Tanisha Das’s M.Sc Microbiology review mentions Career Development Centre training in aptitude, communication and interviews. Her account also describes laboratory, research, seminar and workshop activities within that science course.
In computing, Anagha Naik values teachers, course structure and projects, while the Cyber Security and Forensics reviewer asks for stronger specialist teaching and facilities. These accounts concern preparation and daily learning from individual courses and admission years. They add a different kind of detail from a university-wide package figure.
MIT-WPU and Earlier MIT Alumni Roles
Names, roles and batch context
| Name | Published role / batch |
|---|---|
| Girish Chitale | Director, Chitale Group · MIT Mechanical 1994 batch |
| Rohit Somani | VP Sales, India and Middle East, Energy Maintenance Technologies Ltd, UK · 2011 batch |
| K. V. Karthik | Managing Director, Deccan Industries, Coimbatore · batch not stated |
Girish Chitale is named as Director of Chitale Group and a 1994 Mechanical Engineering graduate. Rohit Somani is associated with the 2011 batch and a sales role covering India and the Middle East at Energy Maintenance Technologies Ltd, UK.
Both batch years predate MIT-WPU’s 2017 formation and belong to the wider earlier MIT community. K. V. Karthik is Managing Director of Deccan Industries, Coimbatore, without a batch year. These named roles describe individual alumni careers rather than current graduate-placement salaries.
MIT-WPU CSE Fees and Annual Salary
The current-rate CSE academic and Abhivritti Triple-room budget is ₹26.50 lakh. Dividing it by the 2026 university average CTC of ₹6.30 lakh gives about 4.21 times one year’s gross CTC. CSE academics alone, at ₹17.45 lakh, are about 2.77 times that amount.
The comparison relates a four-year education budget to one annual gross compensation figure. It does not give a repayment period: taxes, living expenses, the salary actually received and any loan interest affect money available for repayment. The university average also covers more than the CSE branch.
