Subject conditions remain part of eligibility. MCA requires Mathematics in Class 12 or graduation. CSE requires Physics and Mathematics with an accepted third subject. B.Pharm requires the specified science combination and English.
Admission marks, scholarship scores and research tests
| Measure | What it decides | Published example |
|---|---|---|
| Academic minimum | Whether the qualification meets the course requirement | B.Tech 45% General/OBC; 40% SC/ST |
| Merit / SRMUSET award band | Scholarship percentage for eligible applicants | General UG SET score 95% or above: 100% first-year award |
| LL.M. written test | Course-specific qualifying selection requirement | Required for the one-year LL.M. |
| Ph.D. RAT | Research interview shortlisting | 50% written-test threshold in 2026–27 notice |
SRMUSET is an optional scholarship test for eligible UG, integrated and polytechnic applicants. Its score bands cannot be used as a compulsory MBA entrance cutoff. A scholarship percentage also does not replace academic eligibility.
The Ph.D. Research Aptitude Test is a separate test. The 2026–27 notice gives a 50% written threshold for interview shortlisting, with specified written-test exemptions. The one-year LL.M. has its own qualifying written-test condition. Read the separate selection processes.
SRMU and SRMCEM have separate cutoff records

The university-specific closing-score table for 2027 is awaited. Course qualifications remain separate from a closing rank. See the 2027 admission date status.
