Engineering, pharmacy, law and management have different subject and marks requirements.CSE requires 60% Class 12 aggregate, together with 50% in Class 10 and the required science-subject conditions. Civil, Mechanical, Electrical and ECE use a 55% Class 12 threshold. AUAT or an accepted WBJEE/JEE Main rank forms the relevant engineering selection route.
MBA requires 50% in Class 12 and 60% in graduation, with CAT, MAT, XAT or AUAT. BBA and BCA require 60% in Class 12. BA LL.B and BBA LL.B require 60% and CLAT or AUAT. Meeting the percentage is one part of admission alongside the test and document checks.
Admission 2027 dates and the Winter Ph.D. deadline
The 2027 undergraduate application deadline and AUAT calendar are not announced. AUAT is an online test with multiple sessions during a month; the test slot is assigned during application.
The Winter Ph.D. 2026–27 application deadline is 30 December 2026 at 3 PM. This is a research intake with its own eligibility and selection process. The 2026–27 academic calendar schedules Winter Ph.D. coursework from 19 February 2027.
For the previous engineering cycle, WBJEE counselling registration and choice filling ran from 30 June to 5 July 2026. Round 1, 2 and 3 allotments were scheduled for 7, 21 and 28 July 2026. These dates belong to the 2026 counselling cycle.

Read the course requirement ↗CSE aggregate and individual-subject conditions
CSE requires 50% aggregate in Class 10 and 60% aggregate in Class 12. Physics and Mathematics are required, together with Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology or a Technical Vocational subject. The individual required subjects must meet the stated 45% condition.
A total Class 12 percentage alone cannot establish this qualification. The same distinction matters for pharmacy, where English and the science-subject combination apply, and for MCA, where the qualifying degree and earlier Mathematics or Computer Science study affect entry.
Application payment and WBJEE seat acceptance
The university application payment and the WBJEE counselling payments are separate. WBJEE counselling in 2026 charged ₹500 for registration and ₹5,000 for seat acceptance. These amounts apply to that counselling process, rather than to every Adamas applicant.
For the university route, the application amount is given during the application process. A course payment made after selection must be read with the academic-fee demand so that any amount credited towards tuition is included only once.
| Payment | Published amount | Scope |
|---|---|---|
| University application | Amount in the application portal | Course and applicant route |
| WBJEE counselling registration | ₹500 | 2026 · non-refundable |
| WBJEE first-allotment seat acceptance | ₹5,000 | 2026 counselling instructions |
| Academic joining payment | Course-specific first-semester or offer amount | Part of the academic fee as credited |
Marksheets, identification and entrance documents
- Class 10 marksheet and Class 12 marksheet for undergraduate entry.
- Graduation marksheets for postgraduate entry.
- Identity and address proof.
- The accepted entrance scorecard or qualification certificate for the chosen route.
- For counselling: allotment and seat-acceptance records, plus applicable category, domicile or income certificates.
The Winter Ph.D. application specifically requires certificates, marksheets, national-test qualification where applicable and the application-fee receipt. Research applicants must also satisfy the subject and postgraduate-mark requirements in that intake notice.

Admission notices and academic calendars
The 2026–27 scholarship policy sets the award calculation and crediting semesters. The Winter Ph.D. notice sets the 30 December 2026 application deadline and qualifying postgraduate marks. The academic calendar gives orientation, teaching and coursework dates.
Engineering counselling has its own WBJEE schedule and notification. University class dates and a central counselling allotment date can therefore differ even for students entering in the same academic year.
