Your study payments
The 2026–27 national fee schedule gives CSE at ₹1,08,250 for the first semester and ₹8,91,800 for four years. MBA is ₹1,93,250 for the first semester and ₹8,11,800 for two years. These are academic amounts before accommodation.
Eight times the CSE first semester would be ₹8,66,000, which is ₹25,800 below the stated complete amount. The correct full-course amount is therefore ₹8,91,800; equal later instalments cannot be inferred from semester one.
The complete year-one demand and remaining instalments must come from the fee schedule attached to the offer. Application, hostel, meals and refundable security have their own payment purposes. An academic payment already credited to the course reduces the outstanding balance rather than adding another cost.
First-semester fees for engineering, business and applications
CSE begins at ₹1,08,250 in semester one against a full-course amount of ₹8,91,800. MBA begins at ₹1,93,250 and totals ₹8,11,800. For BCA, the corresponding amounts are ₹75,058 and ₹5,58,680; for BBA, ₹94,311 and ₹7,07,198.
The ₹9,16,106 B.Pharm total begins with a ₹1,23,309 first semester. BA LL.B begins at ₹95,650 and totals ₹9,75,800 over five years. A first-semester amount is one payment in that programme; doubling it does not establish the complete first-year bill.
| Course | Duration | First academic payment | Full academic fee |
|---|---|---|---|
| B.Tech Computer Science and Engineering | 4 years | ₹1,08,250 | ₹8,91,800 |

From the application payment to later semesters
Adamas quotes the first semester and complete programme amount in its 2026–27 national schedule. It does not provide a complete common year-one or later-semester breakdown there. For CSE, subtracting the first semester from the total leaves ₹7,83,550 across the rest of the course, without determining each later instalment.
The application payment precedes or accompanies the admission process. Academic payments made after selection must be credited to the amount they cover. The older 2025–26 schedule had a separate ₹5,000 alumni-registration charge; it cannot be added automatically to a 2026–27 programme amount.
| Payment stage | Amount or calculation | Where it belongs |
|---|---|---|
| Application / counselling | The actual amount for the chosen route | Separate from the academic total |
| Joining academic payment | First-semester amount or payment stated in the offer | Within the course fee |
| First academic year | The first-year amount in the offer | Used for the year-one balance |
| Later academic years together | Course total minus first-year academic amount | Remaining academic cost |
| Hostel and meals | Annual quoted package × years of stay | Accommodation cost |
| Refundable security | Separately quoted deposit, once | Shown separately |
| Other charges | Only amounts outside the quoted academic package | Added in the extra-charge fields |
Room choices, meals and residential charges
Adamas provides single, double and triple rooms, with AC and non-AC choices, and four daily meals. The hostel expense is additional to the academic programme amount.
A current named-room tariff, meal inclusion and refundable-security amount are needed for an accommodation total. For a four-year BCA or B.Tech, the number of years actually spent in the hostel also determines the cost; a first-year room payment alone does not establish the complete stay amount.
Add the quote for your allotted room
The university describes AC and non-AC rooms with single, double and triple sharing. The available official pages do not give a current price for every named option. Enter the annual room-and-meal amount from the actual hostel offer in the planner.
The stay length can be changed separately. A four-year degree with three years in the hostel uses three annual hostel payments. Hostel security is added once when quoted separately.
Adamas merit awards and the first-semester calculation
The 2026–27 UG merit scholarship uses the first-semester academic fee. Class 12 marks of 95% and above receive 50%; 90–94.99% receive 25%; 85–89.99% receive 20%; and 70–84.99% receive 10%. Half the award is credited in semester one and half in semester three.
For CSE, a 50% award on ₹1,08,250 equals ₹54,125 in total, split into ₹27,062.50 in each of those semesters. It is not a 50% reduction in the ₹8,91,800 degree amount.
The policy also has AUAT, JEE Main, WBJEE and management-test routes. MBA has separate fixed-amount merit and AUAT awards for internal and external students. The printed WBJEE scholarship rank bands overlap at their boundaries, so an award at those boundaries needs an individual confirmation.
PG merit excludes MBA, LL.M, M.Pharm and Ph.D. Only one award may be used.
UG academic-merit awards for 2026–27

Conditions in the 2026–27 policy
- Only one scholarship may be used; choose the highest applicable award.
- Most admission awards are divided equally between Semester 1 and Semester 3. The award is not repeated each semester.
- M.Pharm has no scholarship in the 2026–27 policy, and Ph.D. applicants are excluded.
- Attendance shortfall, disciplinary findings or a backlog disqualify students from scholarship awards.
- AUAT and Early Bird benefits require payment within the offer deadline.
- Sponsored S-1, S-2 and S-3 admissions are excluded.
- Early Bird and alumni benefits exclude consultant, teacher consultant and CollegeDekho admissions.
- Awards are offered first come, first served, subject to availability.
Earlier early-bird offer · deadline 31 March 2026
The earlier offer covered the first 250 eligible admissions through 31 March 2026. Its stated award was ₹15,000, or ₹10,000 for Pharmacy, split equally between semesters one and three. This was a dated 2026 scheme.
What an approved scholarship pays towards
An Adamas award depends on its stated base and crediting period. The UG marks-based award is calculated on the first semester and credited in semesters one and three. MBA awards use separate internal and external student categories.
A percentage should therefore be applied to the fee specified in the award, while a fixed award is deducted as that fixed amount. Hostel, meals and refundable security remain part of the family’s budget unless the award expressly covers them.
West Bengal Student Credit Card and scholarship support
Adamas accepts the West Bengal Student Credit Card scheme. Its student handbook also identifies state and national scholarship routes. A credit-card education loan is borrowed funding with repayment terms; a scholarship is an award governed by its own eligibility and renewal conditions.
Scheme applications can require academic records, identity, domicile and income documents. Approval under a public scheme is separate from selection for an Adamas degree and from the university’s own academic-merit award.
Estimating repayment for an Adamas degree
The CSE academic amount is ₹8,91,800 before accommodation. The amount financed depends on the family contribution, approved scholarship and costs included in the loan. A loan for the whole academic amount will differ from one covering only later semesters.
Monthly repayment is calculated from the principal, annual interest rate and repayment term. Interest charged during the study period or a moratorium can increase the balance before repayment starts; it must be included in the borrowing assumption when applicable.
Questions about fees and scholarships
Does multiplying the CSE first semester by eight give its full fee?
No. Eight times ₹1,08,250 equals ₹8,66,000, while the published complete CSE amount is ₹8,91,800. The stated programme total must be used.
Is the 50% merit award a half-price CSE degree?
The UG merit award uses the first-semester academic fee. For CSE, 50% of ₹1,08,250 is ₹54,125, credited half in semester one and half in semester three.
