Kalasalingam University 2027Admission dates and application steps

The 2027 campus admission calendar is awaiting announcement. The latest confirmed first-year opening schedule is for 2026–27: the inaugural function was set for August 3, 2026. Transport registration began on June 25; special hostel rooms opened on July 8 and all hostel types on July 11.

The online degree intake follows a different calendar. CDOE's July 2026 batch had an admission deadline of October 10, 2026. These dates belong to their stated intake and mode. A 2027 applicant will need the new entrance schedule, counselling dates and joining instructions when that intake opens.

B.Tech selection uses the university engineering entrance route or JEE Main, followed by counselling and programme allocation. The engineering admission guide calls the university examination KUEE, while the 2025 regulations use KEEE. Allocation considers merit, programme preferences and seat availability.

• B.Arch: selection considers NATA performance and qualifying-school marks.
• MBA: qualifying-degree merit is used, with CAT, MAT and TANCET also named for shortlisting.
• BCA: the university common entrance route and Class 12 merit apply.
• Ph.D: applicants follow the doctoral notification and its research selection stages.

Resident-Indian campus applications cost ₹600 under the 2026–27 schedule. Campus, online and research admissions use separate programme choices and joining requirements.

Regular B.Tech applicants need at least 50% in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in Class 12. The engineering guide permits a Physics, Chemistry and Biology route for Biotechnology and Food Technology. NIOS applicants are accepted under the relevant qualification and subject conditions.

MBA requires a recognised bachelor's degree in any stream with at least 50%. Campus BCA requires at least 50% in Class 12 with Mathematics as a compulsory subject. Engineering lateral entry requires a relevant three-year diploma and 60% average in the final two semesters. These are qualifying requirements; the course's entrance and selection stages still apply.

Kalasalingam applications begin with online registration and selection of the required degree and study mode. School-entry applicants enter Class 10 and 12 details; postgraduate applicants also provide their qualifying-degree records.

1. Register using the applicant's contact details and complete the personal and academic information.
2. Select the programme and upload the required certificates.
3. Pay the applicable application charge and retain the acknowledgement.
4. Complete the entrance examination or submit an accepted test result for the chosen course.
5. Participate in counselling and accept the allotted programme.
6. Submit originals for verification and pay the joining amounts by the offer deadline.
7. Complete hostel or transport registration where required.

First-year UG joining requires original school certificates, photocopies and photographs under the university's joining instructions. The 2026 notice distinguishes school-board records: Andhra Pradesh and Telangana applicants need both short and long Intermediate memos, while the Tamil Nadu state-board list includes the Class 11 record.

Class 10 and 12 marksheets, transfer and conduct records, identity information and the admission/payment acknowledgement establish the student's qualification and allotment. Scholarship applicants also need the certificates supporting their marks or entrance rank. Postgraduate applicants provide their degree records; research and online admissions have additional requirements under their respective forms.
