Kalasalingam offers undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral degrees across engineering, management, science, agriculture, architecture, law and health sciences. Regular B.Tech takes four years; lateral entry has three academic years. MBA, MCA and M.Tech take two years after the relevant bachelor's qualification.
The regular CSE, IT and AI & Data Science tariff for 2026–27 is ₹1.95 lakh tuition plus ₹12,000 miscellaneous charges each year. Applying it across four years gives ₹8.28 lakh in academics. Other degrees have their own fee patterns: Allied Health has reduced fourth-year tuition, B.Arch takes five years and BPT includes an internship beyond its four academic years. Online CDOE degrees have a separate structure.

CSE requires 50% in Class 12 PCM, MBA requires 50% in graduation and campus BCA requires 50% in Class 12 with Mathematics. The PCM rule permits the standard engineering route; a PCB-only student has the restricted Biotechnology/Food Technology route specified by the engineering guide.
For engineering lateral entry, the relevant three-year diploma and the final-two-semester average are central to eligibility. Architecture adds NATA performance. Online BCA has its own diploma alternative, so its admission conditions differ from campus BCA. Entrance selection and certificate verification follow the initial marks check.

Kalasalingam CSE, MBA, BCA and BBA Compared
CSE is a four-year engineering degree; BCA is a three-year computer-applications degree. Both need the prescribed school subjects, but their academic costs differ: ₹8.28 lakh for regular CSE and ₹1.95 lakh for campus BCA at 2026–27 annual rates.
BBA begins after Class 12 and totals ₹1.50 lakh in academics over three years. MBA begins after graduation and totals ₹3.24 lakh over two years. Accommodation adds another payment for every year of residence. For example, a ₹80,000 annual non-AC room adds ₹3.20 lakh to four-year CSE and ₹1.60 lakh to a two-year MBA, before separately charged meals.

Kalasalingam Curriculum and Academic Regulations
KARE assigns curricula and regulations by programme, branch and admission batch. The 2025 B.Tech regulations describe the newer engineering academic framework, while the available CSE curriculum is under the 2021 regulations. Students in different joining cohorts may therefore have different subject sequences and assessment rules.
The CSE syllabus covers its branch-specific academic requirements; other engineering and postgraduate degrees have separate curricula. The engineering regulations also set out merit-based programme allocation and payment within the admission offer's deadline. JEE Main practice papers relate to the national entrance route accepted for engineering.
